Ngl Louder and Prouder kinda isn’t good? Yes, I can definitely see where all talking points are coming from, but in terms of whenever they bring up racism or issues involving minority culture they always seem to miss the mark embarrassingly badly. The og Proud Family series did a lot better in terms of their racism episodes due to them actually teaching instead of being like ‘it all boils down to white people being stinky stinky doodoo heads’. The og proud family talked about the hate the Muslim people get. It talked about segregation and why that was bad. It talked about equality and liberation and caring for your fellow neighbor no matter who they are or what the color of their skin is in episodes where those were the talking points. Louder and Prouder seems more catered to radical beliefs the creators believe in now that they got the chance to reboot and it doesn’t feel like any of the characters retained any of the lessons they learned. It just seems like a reboot and memory wipe to cater to extremes because extreme talking points get views.

This stuff is annoying because it feels like it only does harm to the movement, also what about mixed people? If someone is half white and half black should they pay half reparations? Also it ignores the very real fact that white people are not a monolith, most white people didnt own slaves and many were basically slaves themselves. People shouldn't be responsible for the actions of their ancestors or just people the same color as them, should anyone of German decent be put through what the Jewish people were put through as revenge? Should every Japanese person be punished for what their ancestors did to Korea and China? How we reduce racism is with equality and not reparations, reparations and concepts of the sort are just an excuse to try to get the pendulum to swing the other way and its like many want to not just get equality but have a turn to be oppressors and that is a horrible way to go.

The main topic of this episode is showing how shalow end empty black girls are, and how they are learning this from young age. One guy came, and choose one of their friends (the white girld that should search for other friends - because those girls are not her true friends) and what they do ? Cancell her because she is white and was choosen by this dude. If he choose one of the black girls - would she be hated ? NO. Because this episode shows that black people should only hate white people. For anything. And that all things are the white people fault. Even when they have no control over it. Situation: the BLACK BOY choose the WHITE GIRL - no asking, nothing. It was HIS CHOICE - who is at fault ? The WHITE GIRL, who should be cancelled ? The WHITE GIRL. Only after the WHITE GIRL cuts ties with the boy because he had the nerve not to choose a girl with black skin (and watching the black girls behaviour - i think his preferences were totally logical ) she got permission from the black girls to come back to their "friendship"/ This should be banned. This episode is totally racist and shows to the kids a totally patological view of the world.

This is like a reverse PragerU episode. Arguments are bulletproof when you ignore anything that disagrees with your point.

I understand the creators' intentions regarding the tweek x craig episode, but I can't stop thinking that their whole arrangement reminds me terribly of the first season of Bridgertons (forcing an arrangement to be together, at the end it stops being an arrangement) lol +I love the theory that Craig decided that he wanted to be together to be with Tweek after his father gave him his approval

Huh, I’m Asian American and would fit right in with the Asian girls, if it wasn’t that I’m a brown Asian. But the town forcing them together is so messed up, if two characters aren’t compatible, then why want them to get together? Hearing that Trey and Matt came around to keeping the relationship cannon, kind of proves like the power of the ship. Despite them not really having any interaction before the episode that they got together. There is something strangely wholesome about it. That even Matt and Trey were like: yeah let's keep it. Sometimes a ship just sneaks up on you and then suddenly you're so obsessed that you're going what was my life even like before this

I think a lot of creek fans knew the episode is poking fun at them. Many of them have been fans of SP for a long time and knew what kind of show it is. I wasn't around when the episode came out but I have followed some fans who were and some mentioned they knew the episode would be a joke and when the showrunners asked for creek fanart submissions, these fans submitted funny bad art. They said they were surprised when they saw the episode cause it wasn't actually as bad as they thought it would be. While yeah, maybe by the end of that epsiode Tweek and Craig still aren't in a real relationship yet, there were genuine shipping material from it. Tweek showing that he's good at acting and saying he did it cause of Craig's encouragement is one of the best ones. They also thought Craig's dad being supportive at the end was nice, too. And fake relationships becoming real has been a popular trope for a long, long time so them becoming a real couple is a thing they knew could happen. Also, these fans have been shipping creek for years with nothing much in terms of canon (they are background/supporitng characters) so why would an episode featuring them, even as a joke, stop the fans from continuing to love it?
