Found this video after Grym TPK'd me and I lost my honor mode. Will definetely try this strategy next time!

If you cast enhance leap on the Owlbear, combined with the boots that give 1,5meters more jump distance, respec and include athletics as feat you don't need any bait, you just jum at him from the middle cliff right to where he spawns. Also i used Lazael to shoot the Valve from the middle then jump up to the cliff also with enhanced leap, so Grym dies all alone, crushed by my chubby Karlach Owlbear.

Just did this strat but had shadowheart cast spiritual weapon!! It worked so well the whole fight probably took me 30 minutes. It’s my first honour run attempt and I really wanted the armor and XP but I was too scared to try this fight, you saved me!

Bro, thanks for the video Check this out last night I came up with this exact idea, myself of trying the minor illusion to lure the grim in after attempting the grim Forge honor for the first time. It was quite a bit harder than on regular mode. I’m glad to see that I was on the right track and you may think these spelled out for me thank you, bro U got a subscriber .

I agree it's a poorly designed fight, especially on Honor Mode. It's stress without excitement. I get that he is supposed to be this impervious mofo, but IMO superheating should have more of a pronounced effect

so this helped me by realizing what Gryms legendary action was, which was to have more movement speed, which now made sense why i couldn't line up grym under the forge so i just beat him to death with my lv 6 monk, so thank you nice vid

Nice! I'm currently doing my first honor mode run and just killed Sarevok in the first round with my party. I initiated dialogue, then my part illithid character mind blasted him and the others, prompting him to teleport and attack. Then Astarion, respecced as an assassin paralyzed him thanks to that surgeons amulet from act two and then i just went ham on him, with a disintegration spell slipped in.

I have very simple tactic for Tisobald… repelling eldrich blasts and huge area of ice 😅 he has quite huge probability to slip, so if you know how, you can keep him far away from you

Thanks for the vid, only one small note: take with Fog cloud and Darkness, in patch 6 they are considered hostile spells, so if you cast them they will attack you.
