I realised I didn't explain how this is setup very well. So here's an explanation. The first part of the video was recorded earlier. I went to Gortash' coronoation, talked to Mizora twice, long rest, everyone in coronation dead. Before the coronation I didn't either agree or disagree to his deal. I think you can also take his deal, it won't matter. Then, I went and activated the ladder. To fight Gortash only with the Banites you need to either blow up the steelwatcher foundry with Wulbren's bomb or you need to do the Iron Throne quest, followed by blowing up the foundry with the Gondians. If you don't do this, there will be steel watchers with him. As far as I remember there are 3 watchers on his floor and one watcher on the roof. Killing Orin before this is not important, because I am not agreeing with either of them. So the second part of the video, (03:02 onwards) is after Iron Throne and Steelwatch foundry. That's it really. My loop for this fight is: Talk to mizoara > Talk to Gortash > Gortash coronation > Talk to Mizora again > Rest > Mizora visits Wyll > I refuse her deal > Go to Wyrm's rock for ladder > later in game Iron throne > Steelwatch foundry > Kill Gortash. Hope this helps.
Very nice! you really rung their bell! I didnt know you could do that. I had kind of a weird fight against him. I assumed he would be upstairs, and so I attacked one of the mechanisms with an elemental. (This was after agreeing to help him, sleeping, talking to Mizora, then rescuing the Gondians and Wyll's dad, and then disabling the Steel Watch.) That aggroed the 3 guys in there, and I led them outside the door to the rampart. Then everybody downstairs aggroed, and it turns out that Gortash was down there. After a few turns, he ran out the back from the throne room, away from his mechanisms, and I flew down and killed him there, using stealth.
I added a pinned comment, which hopefully gives a better explanation. Maybe the trigger for him actually moving up is when you walk back into the coronation room to see the carnage. I don't know if they changed Gortash's pathing, because sometimes he gets stuck on a different floor and sometimes he can actually follow you to your floor.
Nice work dude! I love the "Pre-fight check" timestamp btw! I am still in Act 2 but I have already lost count of how many fights I've taken with my lock picking gear still equipped.... Feels bad :D
Nice! Firstly I'd recommend joining our solo honour mode discord here discord.gg/zuvCcweP Also this was my practice run, I tried to use companions as little as possible for fights. Next run I will try to do it proper solo, companions usually join for content, or gear. Like Lazel might join for the vlaakith stuff, shadowheart for nightsong, astarion for cazador or the gur hunter etc.

you agree to help kill orin and long rest. He moves upstairs. If you destroy steel watch the room is just soldiers. If you dont there are at least 3 steel watch inside the room with him
@@NikolG80 ohh good to know. that was my question also. I fought him upstairs on a previous run, and this time he was downstairs with a zillion guys, and I didnt know why. Hmm, but I could swear that I long rested after agreeing to help him with Orrin, because I rested to make Mizora come talk to Wyll about his father. I did the underground rescue after that... I wonder if that made him go back down or something?

Awesome, gave me a good chuckle when you rang the bell on his goons.
That was a big part of why I did this elaborate setup.

haha same
I have done that so many many times. I am terrible at inventory management.

By chance, having stumbled upon your videos, I was inspired to go solo mode myself. Question. How do companions participate in your passage?

Cool bell)
I wish I had taken out that shield machine, so I could throw Gortash too. He doesn't take much fall damage with that shield on.
Ding dooonggg
Can that bell drop and insta kill him
I don't know. The bell doesn't have a health bar from what I know, but I can check if there's a switch or lever or something. Good idea though.
How’d you get all the noblestalk??
