You have a very peaceful life and watching it make me feel so relaxed! ❤
Love the vids. So very inspirational. Just fantastic. Thank you.
Judging by this girl, I am once again convinced that nothing is impossible for a woman! Sorceress!👏👏👏
❤
Building into the unknown, peace by peace, is such a treasure chest.👍
Wow you did so well to keep balance and not drop those wood panels. I was holding my breath at one point.
😅 I did not anticipate how heavy they would be!
Thank you so much for the privilege of watching this transformation. Followed to see what else you do! As a UnitedStatesian, I really appreciate your quiet determination and "everything is figureoutable" approach, then on to your calm art. Your story at the end makes me think of my Mumma's home in Ireland, where the animal byres are all still standing, but the house she grew up in, apparently made of mud, is now long gone. I love that you reflect back on the echoes of all that were there in that spot before you. You have certainly given it a refresh and new hope.
Thank you so much! 😊
Thanks for the reminder about golden milk! I love your videos. I’m a spinner/knitter/weaver too. The fiber arts are some of my joys. And I’m also delving into fermenting, for the same reasons of health. So far, sourdough and sauerkraut have been my successes. Truly you are living as a renaissance woman! Loved hearing you say “I met the sheep” that your handspun wool came from.❤
clever little human !
I like to shared my freedom with you
Please don’t ever stop making your videos! You are truly inspiring ❤
This is just beyond beautiful! You're an inspiration. Also evidence to all men in the world that women are more than capable in everything. Just absolutely wonderful!
Your videos are mesmerizing and beautiful. I've watched many. You highlight and demonstrate how absolutely lovely our human life is. My grandfather owned a dairy farm and an apple orchard. He had 12 children and paid the bills working in a coal mine. My father didn't own a pair of shoes until he was a teenager. I admire your zest for real life. I harvested about a 100 wild black walnut nuts this season and I am germinating their nuts in the refrigerator this winter in hopes they will sprout for planting trees this spring. I am a woodcarver and artist myself and am fascinated and impressed by your artistic style and presentation. Thank you for your videos. I also really like your artwork.
Thank you so much, that is so kind of you! I really hope the walnut sprouting works out, I hope to do that with acorns but the mice keep stealing them 😅
@Nelferch You're very welcome! I collected 50 acorns two days ago and now they are in the refrigerator cold stratifying as well! So excited for spring! Thank you for the well wishes and inspiring videos.
epic, I know how much. work this is respect.
What is that great little tool you’ve used to cut in your floorboards with the tricky shapes? Love what you’ve achieved
That's a Jigsaw, and it's older than me! 😆 Belonged to my grandad and it still works, but you can get much more modern ones now
❤❤❤💪
I think you have done a remarkable job of your renovation. I was wondering what art you are going to make in it. I would love to view a follow-up of your next project. 😊 Enjoy your space
Wonderful
It's so comfy to watch you working in the studio, learning how to do each part of the barn renovation. Very inspiring, congrats on the great work!! Watching from Brazil.
You're awesome, great job!! 👏👏👏👏👏
This. This is my dream. Not just having a place like this, but having the skills and possibility to make it happen. The fact that you did all these things yourself (with due help, of course) is truly amazing. The attention to detail and your ability to bring your vision to life is wondrous; the trial and error and the small "mistakes" (if you could even call them so) just make the overall watching process feel closer, and the final results more satisfying. I also loved how hopeful and open to further possibilities everything feels, I hope you can continue to create whatever you set your mind to and improve upon your space as much as you decide. Thank you so much for sharing this, it really made my day!
Thank you, this is so kind of you 🙂
Hai Katherine, I am new to the channel. that sound on the background is that a river nearby? Great what you are doing !!!❤ 💚
Just discovered your channel and absolutely loving it. Fantastic job on the beautiful content so well filmed !
Assisto seus vídeos do Brasil. Amo todos. São muito bem feitos e transmitem uma bela mensagem. A humanidade precisa reaprender a viver em harmonia com a natureza. Obrigada! ..
So much loveliness. Thank you for sharing these peaceful, purposeful life practices with us. My loom is set up at the end of my kitchen, so I can weave a few inches throughout my day, while I make apple chutney. Sauerkraut. Buckwheat bread. Yum. The life & rhythms of HOME are spiritual practice for me. There is nothing “out in the world” that feeds my soul like staying home.
Wow😮
Protect your ears when using that kind of machines.
Great job!❤
this was so well filmed and edited. thank you for making such an accessible video :)
You are rare jewel in a time of increasing disconnection from nature and creativity! I know your channel will grow and you will inspire many. Bravo! This is content to endorse and subscribe! 🙏❤️
Great handywoman !!
great
This is one of the most beautiful, intimate and entertaining videos I've seen about space repairs and renovations. Congratulations on your attitude towards the new. The place is beautiful and personal, tailored to everything you need. If I were a bit picky, I could only say that it would have been nice to keep some of the structure or interior details from the building's past life. I can't believe how much energy and skills you discovered and consolidated in all this. Really, congratulations! Regards from Chile.
Really love your kitchen taps the swoop of them is amazing
GREAT JOB GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
19th century 💚
Kudos to you. You have a lot of patience and ingenuity.
nice💕
I found your channel about 2 weeks ago and have been BINGING all your content. You have a lovely personality and your content is beautifully done. I love that there's no set structure, just "here I am and this is what I'm doing" I have found your channel to be my go to lately for when I am knitting and crafting after (and sometimes during) work. Thank you for creating such a beautiful space on the internet. Life is hard right now and this channel brings me peace.
Love it
Barbas de milho, is what we call to that hair in the corn, and it's very good to make tea 😉
Debbi from Cincinnati here~. I have fallen down a rabbit hole and am so glad I did. I have watched all of your videos, even the ‘shorts’ which usually annoy me but I have enjoyed them all. Now I have almost watched all of your content and cannot binge anymore and therefore must be patient until you drop your next video. * sigh*. I have a request, would you do a tutorial on box covering? They are gorgeous! Also, regarding making mistakes, the Navajo (Nav-a-ho) Native Americans of the Southwestern USA are master weavers. They believe that only God is perfect and are comfortable making mistakes in their Art.
Thank you! I would like to do a box covering tutorial, I will try soon ☺️
Well done 😊
Debbi from Cincinnati here~ Thank you for the lovely tour of Oxford. It is on my Bucket list to visit.
👌👍
What a fantastic achievement - really wonderfull :)
Fabulous job. You should be very proud of your efforts. I am sure your forefathers would be thrilled to know you have created something very special from the family barn.
Wow, this was amazing! I love how you took on the challenge and did about 90% on your own. Your carpentry skills are brilliant! as a Graphic Artist myself its nice to have a amazing work space.
You remind me of a faerie.
nice work with the windows. that was well done!
