  • The old tin shed next to my studio finally fell down...
I demolished it and transformed the space into a vegetable plot! Now I can't wait to grow things in the spring 🌱
    Thanks for watching 😊

Great job clearing the collapsed old barn and I love the wall you erected at the front and your new future vegie garden too. Well done, you are amazing xx

    I’m just seeing this.
That was a big project to take on. I’m very glad you didn’t get hurt, but especially not by rusty bits. The whole area looks so much better. It’s very cool that you are working to get carbon back into the soil.
There a whole movement really starting, spearheaded by really conscious farmers. They really want to 1) teach others about leaving the soil alone - no tilling (it’s better for the soil as an ecosystem) & 2) getting as much carbon into the soil as possible. It’s been taken out over hundreds (& thousands) of years of farming the same areas over and over with the same crops and it’s depleted it turning it from soil as a living ecosystem into dirt.
Please check this out online. I think it’ll make a lot of sense to you and be something you’ll really get into.
It truly makes a lot of sense to me.
    Peace,
    Kevin

I adore those ceramic Terra cotta cylinders. I would put succulents in them. Would look so cool looking in a garden. Nice video

They’re actually drain pipes! I think they would bury them under the ground to make a water drain, but I like your idea! 😊

I can say that you have made me miss my roots. I grew up on a farm in the state of Wisconsin the US. I can say with confidence that you are definitely in touch with your farming spirit! I loved the two barns on our property and mending was a way of life, but make it your way and enjoy your farm!

Just came across your video. Well done I love the wall you created from the bits of wood you found. Just a tip but if you wet the cardboard with a hose it’ll start to break down much easier and it’ll stay in place, so you won’t have to use the rocks. Happy planting hope the growing season goes well for you.

Perhaps you could contact a scrap metal dealer to take it all away...and perhaps sell the antique beams?? :)

Haha, we now have a whole reclamation yards worth of stuff in the big shed! I have a lot of future projects in mind so may use some of it up them..
