Predicting Future Hall of Fame Inductee's (Current Players).
Been a Bruins fan for 50 years. I’ve watched better teams than the 2011 team. But Timmy made me realize if you have an elite goaltender that turns it on on the right time. It’s key to winning a cup. Thanks, Mr. Thomas. You took years of pain away with that 2011 performance.
All that and no talking about the playoff run?
"No-show Joe" was his nickname for a reason, he is not interesting, he is the most overhyped player of all time that accomplished nothing.
This is all hype. Only because he plays in NY. Overblown
I, and probably everyone not directly involved in Buf's leaving the NHL, haven't heard the whole/real story. I remember talk of an off-season injury incurred while doing something that would've allowed the team to terminate his contract. Buf tried to hide it and act as if he was injured in training camp. I don't know the details, but it wasn't Buf walking in one day and saying he was done, there was more to it. Regardless, I loved watching him play, and wish he was still playing.
The most bs trade ever was thorton from the bruins
Was an interesting one ya haha
Don't care what your politics and other views are. You're a legend.
Amen!
My favourite memory of Joe is how he used to do his interviews naked when the NHL first allowed female reporters into the changeroom. The league had to step in and make him wear a towel as it made the female reporters uncomfortable.
Ya 😂 What a beauty! Hey, I mean it is a locker room lol
Worst trade the Bruins ever made. I am a Bruins fan.
The Rask trade makes up for it (Leafs fan) 😂
Is it just me, or would Jumbo Joe be the BEST beer leaguer EVER. He has the beard, no visor, and he looks like he is really funny😂
LOL just one of the boys. Legend!
@@beyond_thebench oh yeah 100%
As a Sharks Fan, it was an Honor and Privilege to be able to watch Thornton all those Years! Too bad he never got that Shiny Thing!
A damn shame! But what a career!
But did you know he won the Hart while on 2 differnet teams? He also played for 2 teams the year he won the Hart. 😂
😂 proof reading on that section was a little off lol
I always thought they called him jumbo because he was packing some heat in his pants
Crazy how much he looks like me (face)...and I hate shaving. Also I love passing in hockey as well.
Another legend to never lift the cup.
Hardest championship to win in sports!
It’s crime that Jumbo Joe never won a cup.
A damn crime!
him and pavelski probably the best players to never win
Don't forget Marleau
I felt like I was going crazy at number 2. Why’d you say the same thing three times? 😂
😂
Off topic, but why do Major Junior players wear those big aviator visors? Are they required in the CHL?
Yes its strongly recommend they wear a visors. They look much today than they did back then haha
He was a unique force on the ice. Teams had no answer for him. I was angry when the Blackhawks had to part ways with him due to a front office mishap.
Had some nasty mitts!
he was ahead of his time... wouldve been a great player in todays game
Spot on Mr.Colin! 😉
Didn’t have the speed.
Its ironic that the guy who didnt listen to coaches is now a coach 😂
Funny how that works 😂
He couldn't play defense/back check... that's all you need to know..
Pro tip.. why don't you do a video without basically reading out is hockeydb.. and putting some wallpaper highlights over it. This is just like Odd Man Rush.. lazy effort.. tell me why he couldn't stick.. kinda clickbait.
We did, his highlights are better to watch tho haha
Where is the “Swish National League”?🤓
😂 swiSSSSS
Schrempy.
Schrempsteeer
You should do a part II on what he is doing now. Rob is a great guy and is a great ambassador to the game still!
Totally! Thats a great idea
When people talk about Zegras or the Michigan. I always ask if they remember Schremp. His Lacrosse skills with the puck were nasty
Next level dangles
I dunno.... collect paychecks, travelling around the world, playing against/alongside worlds greatest altheles!!! There's more to life than being NHL superstar, it's life style, demands of public and press.... Schremp dosent owe hockey nuthin but got everything 😮
Ya 100%! Got paid to play a game he loves. Pretty sweet no matter what.
Good video.
Thanks!
A Deep dive must.... Wpg vs . Edm playoff rivalry!!! YES, I know stats mislead Edm dominance of Wpg, on paper!!! ....on ice, wpg stood toe to toe, up against some of the NHL's greatest teams, plethora of hall of famers, in the kill or be killed Smythe division.... low on talent big on guts, the jets took Edm to the cusp of elimination.... 80's style, 90's heartbreak to modern Renaissance jets 2.0 sweep of mc jesus & heritage classic.... From upper middle class Edmonton collisium to the barn in Winnipeg (not a good seat in the house) it's rich in NHL history 😀
Useless
Really. Robbie got paid to play the game he loves for 20 years. Sounds like success to me, troll.
@@jaymac654 suck it up sunshine, he was sub par at best and was a showboat who was the laughing stock on a shitty oilers team at the time. You don't have to like it, but facts are facts. Snowflake!! Seeing that your into name calling

Not the most technical tendy. But gets it done with his own style
Tim didn't kneel. That's the difference between a Man, and a weak man. Tim is A Man.
A Great American! A Great goalie.
Alex also won a Cup with the Golden Knights.
He sure did!
One of the most useless players to ever play in the NHL! The only reason he got a cup is because he was standing his useless ass in front of the net while Toews and Kane did everything. He did nothing but cause problems in Winnipeg after that until he decided he was too lazy to keep playing
My favourite .moment with him was when the jets and sharks were playing and he knocked down 3 players at once
All time moment!
Jake Allen helped the blues to a cup in 2019? 😂😂😂 yeah from the bench
That’s helping right? Lol
For morals yeah@@beyond_thebench
He didn't want none of Tom Wilson
Nope! 😂
Yes he cracks top 10 easy... I would choose less than 6 players above him in consistency and tenure, let alone points or leadership! Good pick!
Top 10 all day!
Technically picard was on the Adler Mannheim as the third string goalie this season (after ending his career with my grizzlies Wolfsburg in 22 which led to us getting justin pogge)
Nice! Didnt know that actually!
I remember growing up and seeing a fight almost every game. Now your lucky to see a nice hit
Facts
7 players from this draft have over 1000 games. I would draft Josi at 7 snd he still goes to Nashville
Ya that sounds about right!
I’d select Josi at the 3rd or 2nd overall picks
Bold choice. I'm not super into sports. I don't see him going ahead of Erik Karlsson or John Carlson, Stamkos, Doughty,
555 goals for Stamkos. #2 on the list is Eberle at 299
Josi is 4th in points tho, so he's great.
A big reason why josi became so successful is the fact that once suter left, josi stepped in with weber. Giving him top minutes with a solid shutdown heavy slapshot defenseman at his prime is the key. Look at what ekholm is doing with Bouchard in Edmonton. Imagine!
Totally!
Hodgson retired again as the malignant hyperthermia came back Also sounds like AI and not super informative. Not a great video
Not an AI voice actually, real person. Appreciate the watch!
Zach Boychuk found stability by following everybody on Twitter
😂
Bro has liked at least 3 of my instagram pics as well, what a beauty😂
Nikita Filatov became a hockey expert and agent. He can be seen on the UA-cam channel - Это хоккей, брат. Even at the KHL level, he did not show outstanding results and ended his career at the age of 30 😕
Oh didnt know he became an agent, thats cool!
Hmmm, 9 minutes and we learned absolutely nothing. So he's fishing? I could see that from the clickbait. Unexpected return to the ice? Where? In a beer league? Zero explanation.
That’s just Big Buff, nobody knows!
