Hockeys a damn expensive sport too, so do some additional research and find out who helped Tim out so he could reach his goals and live up to his potential in hockey.

Watching back in the day i felt like thomas made as many great saves off hopeless plays for most goalies where they wouldnt have even extended to try to make a save as he did off his own mistakes 😂 guy was super entertaining to watch and he had the reflexes and athleticism in his prime to back up his unorthodox style. The fiery on ice personality, the style, complete homage to the oldschool. The long journey to to the NHL to the ultimate success most highly touted prospects in the league since 19 never see. I always liked Timmie; he seemed to me to be 'the perfect Bruin.' On a team defined by a strong uncompromising work ethic he seemed to stand out for his, which is no small thing. That, plus his obvious and immense talent, made me a fan despite the fact that I'm not a Bruins hockey fan at all. I wish we could have seen him sooner as well as later but I will always admire him for his accomplishments and his demeanour. summer 2012 I was in a foster home & continuing hockey seemed unrealistic. Tim Thomas made it possible for me & sponsored me to attend his summer goaltending camp as one of a small group kids in the northeast. He showed up unannounced looking like every other Dad with a Dunkin Donuts coffee. Ill never forget how he reacted when I told him he was my idol & all of our idols. So humble its remarkable, especially considering he was finals MVP a year earlier. Thank you TT for propelling me not only as a man but now as a professional athlete.
