Tim Thomas is the greatest Bruins goalie in my lifetime … I love this man … 8 goals in 7 Stanley Cup Final games. He’s the greatest. “I did not realize it was my job to pump his tires.” 😂😂

I got to see Tim play in one of the 2011 stanley cup games in Boston.. epic win!!. After the game i went up to some guy wearing Nordiques shirt and shook his hand then asked if he enjoyed the game.. he said " you guys just have a better goalie than us" i didnt argue with him..lol

Watching back in the day i felt like thomas made as many great saves off hopeless plays for most goalies where they wouldnt have even extended to try to make a save as he did off his own mistakes 😂 guy was super entertaining to watch and he had the reflexes and athleticism in his prime to back up his unorthodox style. The fiery on ice personality, the style, complete homage to the oldschool. The long journey to to the NHL to the ultimate success most highly touted prospects in the league since 19 never see. Truly a 1/1 story loved this guy

That, plus his obvious and immense talent, made me a fan despite the fact that I'm not a Bruins hockey fan at all. I wish we could have seen him sooner as well as later but I will always admire him for his accomplishments and his demeanour. Tim Thomas always struck me as the type of guy you'd want to be friends with. I wish him all the best!

For the record, Tim Thomas DID NOT WIN A HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP He played for Davison High School outside of Flint MI. The ONLY High School State Championship won by a Flint area / Genesee County Michigan team was the 2023 Flint Powers Catholic team

I didn't personally like a lot of the players on that 2011 Canucks team anyways. Kesler, Burrows, etc. were all knobs to begin with. Sisters couldn't score.
