The mispronounciations are killing me! Great video though!
We know...apologies! Had some issues with our narrator on this one which we've addressed. Glad you like the concept!
When did the Sedins play in the NFL?
Yo, you NEED to learn PROPER PRONUNCIATION of some of these last names.
Richard? Ricshard is how you say it.@@beyond_thebench
Agreed on the mispronunciations. Loved the story about Howe.
"Sedin twins". There are no Sedin twins. It is just a one person, Haniel Sedin that wore the number #32 and got drafted twice by Canucks in 1999, because Bettman lied to Burke and then they had to make cover-up story for it and people are naive enough to believe that.
😂😂😂
Stay out of comedy. That bomb was Dresden-like.
@@JayZed-tl5bc Comedy?
And no mention of Steve Heinze wearing #57 that never got him a ketchup endorsement.
Hadn’t actually heard of that one! Great reference!
The Sedin brothers played in the NFL?😂
We know we know, a wee mistake lol
Nice to see you growing rapid I was your 80th sub
Thanks! Appreciate the early sub! Starting to see some traction, new video coming out tomorrow 👀🤘🏼
When I see 29 I think of Marc- André first but I like the story with Draisaitl too
True!
oops. @4:16, that's the wrong Ben Thomson. The one pictured was born in 1993 and wore #26. The Ben Thomson to whom Draisaitl was referring was born in 1982 and never played for the Albany Devils.
Ooops is right! Great catch my friend.
i met jordin tootoo
Ya? Good guy?
i took a photo with him :)@@beyond_thebench
6:18 Uhh it’s not the NFL😂😂😂
We know we knoooow, error in the script!
6:17 NFL???
We know we know - it was a mistake!
AI voiceovers are horrible. Worse than listening to someone who knows nothing about the sport talk about as if they're experts. One of the best things about talking about, or listening to hockey is the pronunciations of names from around the world. This voiceover ruined what should have been a great video.
Actually not AI, real person. But we dropped the ball on having him get the names right, we will do better! Appreciate the feedback, hope you stick around for more :)
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you. How can you produce a Hockey video, and not pronounce Maurice Richard's name correctly. That's like a Priest not being able to say St. Peter correctly!@@beyond_thebench
@@nicolelala10hockey fans know how to pronounce Sedin and Richard. It’s a good video made by someone unfamiliar with the game.
@@nicolelala10 You’re completely right! This video is actually a few months old, just recently posted. Since then we’ve been more strict with the VO. No more mistakes in the future!
@@JackBirdbathThey sure do! This narrator didn’t know hockey, and it was our job to make sure everything was perfect, and it wasn’t. We will be better and we hope you stick around for more :)
you said NFL instead of NHL
Ya…mistake in the script! Sorry!
This was brutal. Mispronouncing names, saying NFL instead of NHL during the Sedin (which was mispronounced) segment. Yikes.
Couple mistake we know, will be better in the next one :) Thanks for the feedback!
Is this an AI voice? If not, it would have been smart for the narrator to actually look up each of these guy's names and how they've been said in thousands of hours of commentary. Great voice, terrible pronunciations.
Real voice! And yes we apologize for the butchering of names. Have corrected that issue for future videos. Glad u like the video tho!
It's pretty clearly an AI voice. Not that that ruins the video or anything, just helps to be able to identify it.
Eventually, the tech will be good enough that you can't anymore 😅
He also said "NFL" instead of "NHL" when talking about the Sedins. I'm guessing that was a typo in the script
@@chrisczech744typo ya 😢
@@_KRose They already said it's a person narrating and not an AI voice. So you are pretty clearly wrong about that.
You should probably learn to pronounce "Sedin" and acknowledge that they did not play the the NFL. 😂
We know we knooow, few mistakes but we’ve cleaned that all up for future videos! 🤘🏼
And now I sit here hoping to hear you mispronounce "Patrick Roy."
Won’t happen, promise! 🫡
Great facts. But terrible terrible terrible pronunciation of the names
Thanks! Yes we’re aware, have fixed that issue for future videos 🤘🏼
@@beyond_thebench definitely got some promise once you get that part corrected. Keep up the good work!
@@Serenessl1994Thank you!!
