Hello and welcome to my channel! My name is Vic and my co-pilot is Zeda. I have been living in a truck camper for over three years straight, oftentimes by a river. I live fulltime in my truck camper in Montana, regardless of weather. It may be difficult sometimes, but I believe through the difficulties this lifestyle can present from time to time increases my ability to endure and prosper in other aspects of life. Hope you enjoy my videos and please give a like and subscribe to get a glimpse of how I live my life, but also witness the parts of Montana and other states well off the beaten path... except for those who are willing to put in the miles and discover their hidden beauty and history.

Rock crawling a Can am Maverick R on increasingly harder (1-9?) obstacles in Moab & Sand Hollow
Переглядів 1,1 тис.2 місяці тому
The following video is a compilation of increasingly difficult (1-9ish plus bonus at end!) obstacles while in Moab, Utah (and two from Sand Hollow). How will the stock Maverick R handle some of the harder trails/obstacles in Moab such as Hell's revenge, Moab Rim, Gold bar rim, Golden spike, Rusty Nail, and from Sand hollow: The maze, and The Fallen? Special thanks to Rob (from sand Hollow's tri...

After a few hundred miles of getting used to the new Maverick R, the group I was riding with found ourselves on "The Fallen" trail. Against my better judgement, I decided to have a go at what may be the most technical obstacle I have tried to date.
Carnage and deep powder! Snowmobiling Montana: how much snow is too much? Lynx shredder turbo

A compilation of the last week of my 2022-2023 riding season, and my first on a turbo sled. Hopefully you can live vicariously through my mediocre skills and help stave off your desire to go and smash some A arms with the ridiculously slow start to the season we're facing. Merry Christmas and happy new year, everyone!

I was on my way up into the mountains of Montana for an Offroad trip with fellow youtuber "Montana mountain UTV, when all of a sudden, I felt and heard a giant "CLUNK". After stopping, I jumped out of the truck and saw what was the beginning of a week long endeavor involving one amazing Sheriff, a tow truck, the unbeknownst to me skills of my fellow youtuber friend Will, and my mechanic friend ...

So what happened! You gotta fill us in, was it the Method rims?
You need Kenny or Larry to come bail you out!
😮 But the replacement is legit!!! 👍👍
Trust me, with enough profanity you'll eventually get it $$$$ fixed.
Video of it coming out soon y’all. Just wanted to get something out there to stir the algorithm and appease the YT overlords.
Oh no! Glad you are okay!
What the heck??!?
Damn where is that wheel? Damn. Damn damn! Remember to put the spare on the front this time. 😀
Rear wheel has left the chat.
Didn't you read the fine print when you bought the wheels? It said "25% off"! Hope you're doing alright though, man. We've missed hearing from you.
Haven’t heard from ya in awhile, glad to know you’re still alive and kicking…wish it was under better circumstances though! Hoping the best for you my friend!!!
We have been wondering what you’ve been up to! Sorry you’re having to deal with that again. Glad to see your alive though! 😂
Holy shit he’s alive! Sorry about your predicament, I would would offer to come down and attempt to help, but my light duty setup is like a rolling death trap that is best suited to not go to far from Helena until the 158 or so bandaid fixed things are permanently fixed 🤣
Fantastic! On my list. Not to far from the Spokane Valley. Thanks for taking the time to produce the video. Mosquitos suck! If there's one in the forest it bites me :( My little Honda is going to turn around at the snow LOL. Best regards, Kevin
Good job! My kind of camping. Northeast Washington across to Western Montana down to just south of Darby MT. covers 90% of my camping UTV area. Enjoyed the humor very much too :) Cheers, Kevin
Impressive !!!
Now that's testing out to see what it can do , awesome job.

Wow was hoping to see the valley not see how a clown lives.
I thought Dodge had a recall on some of their wheel studs don’t know what years
Hey man…really love the videos, keep em coming! I was looking to get out to Montana this summer. Just out of curiosity, how often do you see bears, moose, or wolves? Would love to get a peak at them during my visit!
Looks like a giant beetle with tires. :)
Liked your crappy drivers section. Being a Prius owner, NO ONE likes to follow a Prius. ESP people in trucks, no matter how fast I’m going. Last week a truck flew past me going through a town. I was a couple miles over the posted limit and I knew they regularly sat in that town running radar. It was a glorious moment after he shot by me, went a few blocks down and triggered the speed trap. LOL 😂 Last I saw he was pulled over with some cherries on top.
You suck! 😂 Looks like a blast. The cliff above the river had me on the edge 😮. Good driving experience. The pup had a great time too.
Haha thanks!
Awesome! Still bummed our trip changed and we missed you there. Next time! The golden spike crack on a Moto was fun. Haha
Me too! I bet the crack was interesting on MX. I saw both MX and even a quad going over it. MAXIMUM COMMITMENT!
@@downbytheriver501 a little pucker factor for sure. Some jumped it and others finessed it. Only 1 bike casualty. lol
@@scottfast03 not too shabby!
Were you just leaving in manual mode and 1st gear?
Yeah. It’s too risky not leaving it in manual when rock crawling. A couple seconds of slippage will cause it to be thrown into neutral.
If I'm ever stuck in a ditch, I want you driving!! But 😵💫I can't watch this!!!!!🤟
Way to go man! I definitely want to check that place out.
Thanks buddy. Moab is the epicenter for the best off-roading in the world, I think.
Good to see you back in the saddle again. That thing looks like fun!
Yessir it’s an absolute blast!
Down by the river lives 👍😊
I is!
Really enjoyed this video. Thank You!
Google is a bonehead!
That hot spring was incredible
Wow, great snow
😂You’re a nut Your GS is awesome My Bear is a ass Great job
Kenny of all trades told me to check out your channel. Nice work.
Well that’s pretty awesome of him to give me a shout out! I’m so happy his channel is taking off as much as it has. Just goes to show what hard work and creativity can bring ya in the youtubes.
Why is a semi even going there? 12,000 pounds? That doesn’t sound right.
When I’m loaded, I weigh in at 12,400 lbs. right at max GVWR.
I would have asked the semi guy to let me by first.
I’ve been saying for someone to post does of hard wall truck camper off road and what it is safe to do. Thanks! What suspension mods do you have?
Thanks. Bone stock except torklift stable loads on the rear leaf pack.
Curious, how many belts did you go through?
This a joke right? 😆
Beautiful but a deep red state, sadly. Such a handsome dog. Makes me miss my GS.
It’s not really deep red. Lots of blue in the cities…sadly 😉
@@downbytheriver501 Even the very few democrats that get elected in Montana aren’t really democrats. They’re just liberal republicans.
that sheriff was a cool guy he just wanted to make sure your trailer was safe
haha those g@y wheels broke your truck
Petersen is a clown.
Who’s Petersen?
Must be between Sedona and Cottnwood.
Montana is beautiful wow
Great video!!
Thanks!
Wow this looks like so much fun!
Great footage
Thank you kindly
Nice adventure , great companion.
Thanks 👍
Bolt cutters.
Do you keep the roof vent open while you are in the camper? A small fan like you have on low circulating the air helps move warm air around and opening the vent allows the warm air to carry out the water vapor. We used to have a northern lite that we winter camped in all the time, we learned you have to heat at a high enough temp in the camper that the hot air can carry the moisture out of the camper vent. A Maxair vent cover is a must so you can use the vent in rain/snow.
Yeah it’s been on my list to get a vent cover. Now that I have an amazing off grid solar/battery bank I use a dehumidifier and there’s no more issue!
