  • This video is part 2 of my travels through what soon would be devastated by horrendous floods. Zeda and I make our way past Teton National Park, up into Yellowstone and around Yellowstone Lake. Encountering heavy snowfalls, we dropped in elevation and stayed outside of Cody, WY before attempting the Morrison Jeep trail switchbacks. After that, we made our way up the Chief Joseph Highway, back into the beautiful forests of Wyoming and stayed a night next to the very river that would devastate the community of Cooke City in the following weeks.

My thoughts and prayers are with the folks from that area, such a devastating tragedy they are are dealing with now and for the foreseeable future!
Such a beautiful part of the country and so sad to see the destruction at the hands of Mother Nature 😞 😢
You are a great magician…love how you were able to get the “ground off the tire”. You are the all mighty one!!! 😂

I am stronger than I look! I was able to push the earth down in order to get the ground off the tire.

So that little tremor I felt the other day was actually just you lowering the earth to get tire clearance! Super great shots on this one. I wanted to see ya try that 25% grade!!!

Me too! I really don’t want to go back to this place mid July because it looks like a very, very hot canyon.

The landscape you capture is always beautiful. Were you able to get the old drone going or did u purchase a new one?
Hopefully Cody will recover, it's sad to see how quickly a town could be erased.
Hope you are doing well and have some plans to enjoy the fourth. I'm just about to walk into work and still haven't made any plans for the weekend. I'm not sure if you got my comment about losing my phone along with all my contacts. You can always get ahold of me through email. Thanks for giving us all a chance to see your beautiful back yard.

Hey there. I was able to get the old one going. But unfortunately, I crashed it a few days back when, despite my best efforts to turn the opposite way of its trajectory, it flew right into a tree and damaged the gimbal mount.
      What was your email again?

A couple years ago we spent a week in Yellowstone and kept a dumb a** count of people pulling out, turning, stopping in front of others along with questionable wildlife encounters. We had triple digits before the week was over. The flood looked awful and it will take a lot of work to reopen the north entrance. I don't know how Cooke City will survive the winter.

Yes it’s extremely frustrating. I have driven the Lamar valley route more times than I can count, and the amount of evil looks you get when you just casually drive through bison herds instead of slamming on the brakes, creating hundred+ car pile ups instead of using the pull outs is hilarious. These people have no knowledge or no respect for other people who don’t want to be stuck behind them and create hazards by doing crap like that around blind corners, or just slamming on their brakes randomly because they believe standard traffic laws are not applicable in national parks.

You know I love the upper Midwest, clear lakes, forest, lake Superior, tons of nature to get into but that mountain lifestyle u got rolling is awesome man. Over a year in my camper now and three trips out west so far.

I love superior woods almost as much. Especially when you get to the old growth forests.
