Assembling the Cyclone Rake on my Zero Turn
In this video, I will be assembling my Commercial PRO Cyclone Rake in preparation for Fall Leaf clean up. I have lots of trees, so therefore I have lots of leaves!
I’ll show you how I get it on my Ariens Ikon XD zero turn mower. I did upgrade the engine to the Briggs & Stratton® 6.5 HP Vanguard™ Cyclonic Engine. It is a beast of a machine.

      I like 4 to 4.25 on most mows. Sometimes I do the parkway area by the road at 4.25 and everything else at 4. The heat from the road and sidewalk heat up that section too much sometimes. So, I let it be a little taller.

    Same mower. I had a bad ignition coil and bought an oem one from local dealer. Put new spark plug in it and then cleaned carb. It runs rough. Very rich. Recleaned the carb like in this video but no luck. It fouls the plug in about an hour. No oil in the gas. Good gas. I’m at my wits end.

    • @theSuburbiaDad
      @theSuburbiaDad 27 днів тому

      Maybe adjust the throttle or new OEM carb? It could be idling to low of RPM’s. In my experience, sometimes cleaning a carb isn’t enough. You just have to get a new one. I like OEM for this. I think this is the one… amzn.to/3WXBNxX Otherwise, it might be time to FB Market and look for a replacement. Hope this helps and good luck!

    Because a current is being induced in the meter's wire by the expanding and collapsing magnetic field created by the spark plug wire, there was no need to strip the meter wire, compromising its integrity.

    Great video and thanks for sharing!! From what I can tell your lawn looks great. I just purchased a 42" Ikon and after the 1st mow put G6 Gator Blades on it. What a difference it made in clipping size and discharge. You'd swear you mulched it without all the clumps when you're done. I have been using them for years, but when I got the IKON the factory blades cut well, but left a mess in the yard because I can only get to mine once a week or so. They are pretty heavy, but will last forever. Also, a riding mower jack goes a long way for accessing that deck and keeping poo poo from running down your leg 😄

    Nice install! I have the exact same set up on my Husqvarna MZ52. Awesome lights and very inexpensive! I like them soo much I also just installed the same setup again on a new DeWalt 54" zero turn I just picked up. I did it slightly different on install, I connect directly to the battery with the ring terminals that came with the led light harness. I removed the included switch as you did and used these switch wires to tie into the key switch. This kept the load off my mowers electrical and directly on the battery. Now is this better for such a low use set up, who knows, the results are the same and the light is amazing! Just another way to do it!

It’s a common fail point. The cut is sweet though. I always side discharged. I think it cut better shooting the clipping out the side. But, if you can ride, I’d ride. The higher the less ribbon effect you will see on the lawn when cut low. It’s nice to be able to make one less trip! If I used the bracket, it would stick out further than I wanted. So, I modified the install slightly. 😆 I was thinking particularly on my 36. It needs to stay that to get in and out of gates. Anyways, thanks for watching as always!

      It’s makes quick work of it for sure! I feel like the sharpening disk has lasted a long time. I did flip the disk over already, but it goes and goes. Hope your doing well! Enjoying the videos you’re getting out there.

      Hi! Here is the kit I used… amzn.to/3PASkDX As for time, basically until it sounds like it is spinning smooth. You can hear it the difference. Hope this helps!
