I love it! Looks great. I wish they sold the wheels with a black rim option or as an aftermarket part. Maybe they do, I just never found it. I did get the commercial pulley upgrade in. I’ll swap it out this weekend. From what I read, one of the more like parts to fail if you don’t. And of course, thanks for watching!
@@theSuburbiaDad I put 6+ seasons on mine and I blew out a spindle, only issue with 2 cuts a week pulling a striper. Good mower, side discharge is the way to go in tall grass. I couldn't find any good mulching blades only the toro high lift ones.

Think the black paint will stay and not peel over time? I’m doing the same upgrades as you. With the pullys and hour meter. Great channel. I want to paint them black but not in the mood to ever repaint them down the road! Also I guess a few months ago Home Depot had the timemaster for $374 or something g ridiculous as an error and lots of people obviously got the deal at an outrageously low price by pricing error.
It will probably chip over time. Its no problem though, I’ll just hit with touch ups as needed. It looks sweet still!

Looks great! Debating if I want to take the wheels off and do the same as you or try to cover the mower and leave the wheels on while I paint? What size were the lug nuts?
It was simple to take the wheels off. It made the process much easier I think. In regards to the locking flange nut size, I’m not sure off the top my head. Thanks for watching!

Any reason you didn’t spray both sides of the inside back wheel cover?
I figured when the cover is on, inside the back rim, you don’t see it when put back together. Looks great! I wouldn’t spend energy on spraying it. Thanks for watching!
Toro really needs to get their act together on this particular mower. $1500 and problems right out of the box. That auto chocke needs to go along with its plastic parts. Mine runs like S..t right out of the box. Called service 3-5 weeks to get it back.

Mine has been fine. I feel with any product some can come out of manufacturing wonky. Hopefully that gets straightened out for you.
I love the rims black. I can always rinse off and hit with more paint. I do wish they made available black rims for aftermarket purchase. Maybe someday?

How is the paint holding up on the Ariens?
I think perfectly. Of course I have some spots where I have bummed trees and objects with the deck, but that’s my fault. Otherwise great! Thanks for commenting and watching!
