Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. I keep my lawn mowed, edged, and hedges trimmed. But I’m don’t spend any more time in the yard than necessary. So in all seriousness what is the purpose of this? Is it just for looks or is there a fundamental reason for it? Personally, I’m not crazy about the look. But I am curious of the reason behind doing it?
the video description says lawn stripes. it's for looks. Makes a regular lawn look clean and stand out.
How high do you cut your grass? Looks like its still over 4" tall. I cut mine to 2.25"
Usually 4 to 4.5. Taller grass is definitely easier to stripe. Rarely under that range until Fall. I don’t think my ground level is smooth enough for under 3. I would probably blast the high spots out the side discharge. 😂

Do you have issues with flat tires? I ordered some non flat front tires from Amazon. I’m super excited to put them on Ever since I got my xd I’ve had a issue with the tires going flat. Could be my land. Anyways like always great video. Keep up the great work
Hey, thanks! I’ve never had an issue with the tires deflating. I check them every few mows, usually stay in the ballpark. Super curious about the never flats. You’ll have to send me a link. As always, thanks for watching and commenting! I love it when people chat it up with me.
I was having the same issue and I was thinking it was leaky valve stems. After spraying with some soapy water. Turns out the bead on both rear tires weren’t all the way seated.
What height are you mowing at?
I like 4 to 4.25 on most mows. Sometimes I do the parkway area by the road at 4.25 and everything else at 4. The heat from the road and sidewalk heat up that section too much sometimes. So, I let it be a little taller.
What number are you cutting at ? 3-4 ?
On the XD, I was between 3.75 and 4.25 for most mows. Sometimes 4.5 during the summer!

What size is your kit. I have the same xd as you. I’m thinking of the 48”?
You won’t even notice it backing up until you run into something! 🫣😆 It is built ready for whatever you might throw at it. This is my second year with it and still looks like the day it came. Mine comes in at 40 inches. Center to center on the back wheels. When I called Big League, it was what was recommended to me.
Great thanks I’m going for the 40” and I think the quick release as well.
You want to do a 3 point turn with it. A zero turn at times like on a incline will scar the ground. 2and season with it as well its great and helps Michigan business. :)
