What happened to Agatha after WandaVision?
Is Agatha Harkness good or bad?
Did Wanda steal Agatha's powers?
What kind of magic does Agatha have?
I would like to think that I answered all of these hot google questions for you here in this video.....but I definitely did not....because it's Agatha Harkness
Hey folks it's me Haussmann Comics, this is my brand new channel where I am breaking away from the Batman Countermeasures and trying to reach a different and wider audience. But it's the same Haussmann Comics Goodness over here,
The Music here is from the SNES Classic Super Castlevania
All Art is obviously owned by the copyright holders, in this case it would be Marvel Comics and Disney, but I suppose there a few other things tossed in there....so like...Sony and Cartoon Network I think?
I always thought that Agatha was overpowered for a secondary character.
The artwork in the Fantastic Four after Joe Sinnot started inking Jack Kirby was PHENOMENAL!
That cough while you were imitating Agatha was peak humor! Truly excellent!
What?! You skipped over The Visions?! That comic is pure gold! And Agatha actually does stuff (kinda) in that one! If nothing else, you would have enjoyed it for all the not-Agatha stuff in it. Oh, well.
As always your videos are a good way to remind myself of details I've forgotten.
Glad to hear that!
Day 1 of asking for the Early evolution of Constrictor!
I have no idea who that is... ergo I am curious.
He's probably one of my favorite villains, if not characters. So I will enjoy Making the video on him
I actually think the idea of a witch who secretly works as a nanny for such a science based team is really cool and the reveal of her being that to the team could have been cool but it seems to quickly become generic.
Yean, sounds like they didn't really capitalize on the concept
Exactly!
i agree, easily could have been great. Stan was perhaps losing it/lost it at the time, or was rebelling/overlording it vs his artist/actual story creators. RIP Kirby, Romita sr, but someone ought have asked them about Agatha. They were loyal company men though, so maybe I'm on the wrong track.
on the bright side this was a great video about the fantastic four
I wonder what Kirby had in mind for her? RIP King of Comics
All I know about the comic version is she used to babysit Franklin
For her first long while that's all you needed to know
Despite your lack of enthusiasm, you showed a lot of enthusiasm! Great video as always
Your imataition isn't bad at least you brought the intimidation factor to the candy corn.😊
Haussome vid!
That iconic laugh from Mr. Mark Hamill why it’s gotta be an early evolution the most well known grinning maniac supervillain he played the Hobgoblin!!!
Nah, it's gotta be a prequel comic about Skips from Regular Show.
I liked Agatha Harkness MUCH better as a elderly 400 yr old witch... making her young again is actually AGEIST!!
🤣🤣
Seriously tho.. Strange Academy is actually a GREAT read.
👑👑
I know a lot of screwed up stuff happens in comics, but the fact that you completely passed over Reed shooting his own infant child with a vegetable gun without comment makes me worry about what kind of *stuff* you've seen
Yeah .....that was pretty messed up. I should start keeping a list of these things I find so I can make a video of screwed up stuff from comics
@@HaussmannComics-xd3gn I would SO watch that, that sounds hilarious
Castlevania music?! Sweet!
If you told my childhood self an Agatha Harkness led tv show was releasing in 2024 I’d assume we were living in some sort of super hero utopia where all forms of media revolved around the Marvel universe, eagerly awaiting the inevitable Styx and Stone series
If/when Styx and Stone get a series .......I'll......
I make a video naked in the snow about them
I really liked WandaVision... And I still don't understand how or why Agatha has an entire spinoff series. And after hearing all this, I'm not sure how she even got included in WandaVision as the villain of the whole show. She was clearly a fan favorite... somehow... so I guess I'm not mad or anything. I'm just confused.
Her tie to Wanda is Agatha taught her witchcraft in an Avengers run. Later, she was a friend and surrogate auntie to Wanda in the comics, particularly in the story where Wanda and Vision conceived Tommy and Billy. Making her a villain was pure MCU changes to take advantage of the acress' range, but she was in the comics runs from which Wandavision borrowed.
Brilliant video 👍,
I always thought she had Atlantean roots because she had the same facial features as Namor.
You blew past Agatha in West Coast Avengers, with Scarlet Witch's kids and Immortus!
So basically she’s your stereotypical old witch in her early appearances? I’m not familiar with the character so someone more informed feel free to inform me if that’s still the case.
Actually for most of her history until Wandavision she was supposed to be way older than Wanda. I think it was the Ultimate Universe Agatha that started the trend of her being in her 30s.
Man, did I feel your pain with this one. Definitely not a character I care much for, either.
I haven't been down with much of the MCU post Infinity War. If anything, I'd have much rather gotten a movie or series about white Vision.
All that being said, as a side or support character from these FF stories, she seems more interesting than her MCU counterpart.
Resurrecting a dead or old character and making them alive or young again can be interesting, but I've heard zero about her from any of my comic reading friends since she was resurrected and de-aged.
She seems like a far less interesting Madame Web in both the old mystical lady and de-aged "hot" reboot departments.
Thank you for the chunk of your soul that you had to expend on this video, it clearly took a toll on you.
Hahaha. Just a small chunk of my soul.
The problem was that she just had nothing to do. She was just there....and even when they tried to have a story for her she was still only a minor role in it.
She probably doesn't get interesting until her son and grandkids get involved and she becomes part of Wanda's story, right?
I don't know when she got interesting, if she ever did
It's ironic Agatha was introduced in Fantastic Four.
Guy like me? Never cared or really knew about her, me? Myself, personally as a person love Machine Man pure Jack Kriby. I swear if they make put him in a movie and take him from me. I'll read more indies. Concert by Paul Chadwick is wonderful
Yeah, this was one of those tie in times I just mentioned.....and I was so not into making this video that I decided not to do it again unless it was something I wanted to cover......Agatha Harkness....really?
Franklin Richards is not a mutant.
Not anymore, but he was for a very long time
#notmyagatha mcu. she's great in the comics before they made her into the MCU version.
I didn't care for Harkness in ye olden days either, but she was written to be so, it's not merely because she is old...I guess she could be a dig at the elderly, a trope on how they can suck, or some nonsense. I think she COULD have been interesting or even cool, with even a shred more thought & care back in the 60's-80's, but that ship sailed. I instantly rejected her as hottie in Wanda vision tv & didn't even know that she was now a youthful slattern, sorry, sorceress in current marvel (strange academy appears too foul to even glance over). Yet another case of self destruction, as simply making up a new character, an attractive witch, either milf or teenie, certainly is something I'm always open for. But nope, gotta rape, pillage, plunder & destroy the past. BARF
Exactly. I'd prefer a new character with ties to the old if that's what they want.......... though typing that made me think of Marcus "Nick Jr" Fury and how much I disliked that.......
Just fine a way to make the character you want to use relevant without completely re writing the character.....unless you can make it make sense....but if it can't logic out then don't do it!
