I have the 8lbs one and found it worked better with a 45° bevelled edge on Australian hardwood. If a maul constantly bounces then reduce the bevel edge from 45° to 60° the wider the bevel angle the more force required to bust open those twisted locked in wood fibres

Great video . These are £189 in the UK . I am torn between this pruning saw and the cheaper , £109 , Dewalt 20v pruner . Any advice ? I own the larger Dewalt chain saw . This one is a very convenient size . How long does the oil reservoir last ? Thanking you in advance for your opinion .

How much does a base model with out a cab new cost?

Hi! I have a electric mini chainsaw for when we hiking and want a campfire, but I’m looking for a compact axe to split wood with a maximum diameter of 25cm. The older X11 is the only ‘small’ real split axe and the new line only has bigger ones. You’re comparison with the X7 was very helpful to decide what is the minimum size to buy for me. But I wonder if this tool is as good as the X11 with splitting? (This might be interesting due it’s smaller size when hiking..)

Back in the day my dad owned a perfect off road vehicle. His was a 1944, Ford built Jeep. He purchased it through the post military sales for a whooping $76.00 each. Brand new still in there crates, never used. We at that time owned a citrus ranch and this vehicle was so great for the ranch. It was such a great vehicle, he bought two more for the ranch. Not fast. About 45 mph down hill with a wind behind ya. Very low maintenance all three had PTOs which was great for pulling tree stumps. These Jeeps came with the 1/4 ton Jeep style trailers. Wish I had one today.

My only complaint is that stupid chain tip guard

Great review man. I’m an arborist, a pruner and do landscaping and I have just about every chainsaw. Husqvarna makes currently and I have every variety of Pole saw. Because of your video I ran out and got one. I will say that leaving the chain guard on is really beneficial. You can move faster, you can use it for undercutting quickly, you don’t ever have to worry about going in the ground and zero chance of kickback.

I noticed if you leave the hopper cracked open a little it will get to a higher temperature. Try it

got a fiskars isocore hammer last year , took it back 2 days later because the pin in the handle started rattling and there was a ring everytime it hit . i absolutely LOVE my other fiskars tools but the hammer i had did not measure up to my other fiskars tools experience .

That would be a great tool to take into any demolition, project. And could use the board bender to bend the twist out of a 2x10 2x6 2x12 whatever to bring it back into position. I get an 8 out of a 10

it's a pruning saw for goodness sake. Why is everyone trying to be a lumber jack with this thing. Right tool for the job. Those tree trunks ur cutting should be done with a larger saw.

I have a 2015 Jeep and seriously thought about getting a Roxor for more variety offroad mainly. But, I have to say I HATE the front end on this new version! When it still looked like a Jeep, but now... YUCK!
