Is there a way to shorten the pole for people with really short arms? I’m 5’ and have very short arms and have trouble with most weed eaters and string trimmers.

No, but you can move the handle to help with that.

How long can it run on turbo mode with the battery, before discharge ??

I've yet to test that, I see no need for turbo unless in extremely thick grass.

Mine cuts off if I hit damp grass... is that built in to the system?

No, something isn't right. The only time mine cuts off if the battery is very low. I used it for 30 minutes two days ago cutting all kinds of grass, zero issues.
