Also good to use if you have something draining the battery in your car. Leave cooling for a few hours and whatever is drawing power will still be hot.

Not unless it's emitting heat, which isn't a good thing. Electricity does generate minor heat, excessive heat is a bad thing.

Also good for detecting misfires in vehicles, just image the exhaust manifold and see which port is cooler than the rest - you've found your lame hole.
