From Cornwall to Kerry - were quitting the rat-race, leaving the UK and moving to Ireland, where we found a sweet little abandoned cottage nestled in a forest clearing. The house hasn’t been lived in for over twenty years, has no gas, electricity or running water so we're really starting from scratch, building our fairytale forever home using the land to resource us where possible. Our vision is to retain the original house but re-shape the interior, extending to create a low-energy functional modern house that is both sympathetic to the landscape and sensitive to the ancestral lineage of the dwelling. For now we're living between the UK and Ireland, on site at key stages of the renovation, so there may be fallow periods of upload activity and sometimes footage is collated retrospectively. Laugh with us and at us as we navigate our mid-life ̶c̶r̶i̶s̶i̶s̶ adventure, and work towards creating our own enchanting fairy tale.
