At some point, I became biased towards Sony during the 360 era, but by this time, I was leaning towards PC. The contrast in hardware and visuals from the games showcased during that initial PS4 reveal in 2013, compared to what Microsoft showcased, single handedly destroyed my bias and within a year of lauch I'd own a PS4 first, years before I'd get an Xbox One.

I had fun at the market in Edinburgh this year. Yeah it was overcrowded but Edinburgh is expensive in general. It's the British way. They bitch like fuck if it's there. They'll bitch like fuck if it was cancelled.

My nan worked at Cadbury’s 70 years ago! Dairy Milk was amazing. Now I never touch it. It tastes aweful and the company is woke. Nothing is sacred!

I like many grew up with cadbury's chocolate and agree with just about everything being said. I like many just stopped buying it. But what really makes my angry about things in genral is the fact that these gready companies are forever trying to make us think we are the stupid ones when many of us were saying straight away the taste was diffrent. They lied and said nothing had been changed !

I went to the Leeds one a few days ago. The mulled wine was disgusting; tasted like watery vimto with clove flavouring, and just as alcoholic! Also had a boozy hot chocolate, that wasn't boozy, or hot, and not particularly chocolatey. Very disappointed :(

Farmers market in Denmark. 15 yeas ago all stalls began sell all the same stuff, cheap crap, that was very expensive. No more " rare " items, just massproduces shit.

Cadbury's tastes terrible since the Americans have taken over. These Americans cannot make chocolate period. Sadly this wonderful company has faded into a shadow of its former self. So true and I've experienced it yesterday. Bought a packet of flakes to crumble over a cheesecake . First problem it looked dull and "solid", it wouldn't crumble at all. In the past you had to be careful NOT to crumble it now I had to hit it against the counter to do so. Let's not even start on the taste. That is the last cadburys chocolate I'll buy.

England has always been crap at Christmas markets

I went to the one in Birmingham this year and was absolutely horrified. When I saw a pair of fingerless cat paw gloves being resold for £15 that you could buy on Shein for a few quid (I know this because I already own them), I wasn't going to buy anything. Everything else was overpriced, especially the food.

I’ve been saying this for years! Xbox sucks. And it definitely that shift over in 07. I stayed on 360 for two years before buying a Xbox one. And even still I didn’t play it much. All I’ve used my Xbox one for is 360 cod4. The consoles UI is so dull and just not impressive. Havnt bought a new Xbox since 2015. Got ps5 instead.

I used to work on a ‘German market’ in the UK / it was bought off the Germans who originally ran it back in 2008 by travellers who own most food keyosks and catering vans in our country, they did order the bratwursts and beer in from Germany don’t get me wrong .. but everything was definitely not worth charging price , the log cabin stalls are usually owned by the person providing the Christmas market then local sellers will rent a cabin and so they have to hit their rental cost per day before they even see profit so it’s harder for them, equally the person providing the market has to bid for the spot with the local authority and it isn’t cheap so again they have to earn their money back also, not that that’s hard they smash it everytime even in the dive cities they bring it to each year!! They are laughing and the product isn’t the best it could be, it may be German beer but I’ll never forget an actual German fella coming up to the bar and saying is this all you have on offer kaltenburg? Wulstein? I said yes he was like this in Germany is the cheapest nastiest beer where is the … and the …. ??? He said this is what those who sit on park benches drink no thank you and walked off 😂 I was like oh kay then. But in all honesty it showed me how incredibly naive the UK are. 🫣 and Christmas I don’t know what it is / it just dumbs everyone down ! Spend money like it’s Monopoly money if I didn’t laugh I’d cry ! Just glad I worked it and had that experience because it made me take a huge reality check with Christmas 🎅

Craft added that shite soy lecithin it's vile now actually makes me ill , I never buy it now. If you are lucky enough to find a bar of the original Cadbury it's so delicious. I now buy Green & Blacks .it's delicious

cut the size and INCREASE the price more like. their £1.50 bars used to be 99p. when i was a kid their standard mars bar sort of size bar were 70 grams. the larger bars now are 95 grams, they're just flat as a piece of paper. deceptive. i refuse to buy them.

The prices are so high because the organisers are charged such high prices by the council for the area. The organising costs are obviously passed on to the vendors who set up and hope to make some profit. Costs include, Security, Insurance, Electric, staff costs and the list goes on. And let's not forget to remember that when the weather is bad so are the takings for a vendor. I . I have been part of a few Christmas Markets and i would never do it again.

I'm a York local, it really is rammed and I couldn't find any good gifts this year, except some little handmade owls. Those were cute.
