Nice video, but there are two quite big mistakes: Turin might not be as important as Rome or Milan, but it's still a very important city, arguably top 5 in Italy; Rome is the capital of Italy, not Milan. Anyway I'm italian and I live in Venice, and I often go to the matches of Venezia and I can confirm that the stadium it's not really good 😅
I mean no disrespect. But compared to New York, Paris and even Venice the city is not as well known on an international stage. Which has really worked in favour for Venezia and PSG, so I believe the rebrands are tied to the cities themselves. Something I perhaps could've elaborated on. Honestly would love to visit Venice's stadium, the location is meant to be great. And I have no excuses, always assumed Milan was the capital
@@onwardsandupwards547it’s funny cuz even by the name “Rome” (just like the freaking empire) it would be crazy for it to not be the capital of your country (I mean it wasn’t for a couple of years but it became part of Italy later on)
Beautiful video, well scripted and edited. Just one thing, you've said that Milan is the capital of Italy but it's not! Apart from that great work, keep it up!
Another valid example could be Atlético de Madrid. They did a complete rebrand in 2017, demolishing the classic Vicente Calderón and moving to a modern stadium and changing the club crest without consulting the fans. This angered and divided the loyal fanbase, who 6 years later still demand the return of the classic crest which had been in place since 1947. The idea Atlético's board had was similar to Juve's, completely change the image surrounding the club to appeal tourists and foreign visitors, and focusing on building clients instead of fans severely backfired on them. Atlético's known for having an incredible fanbase, but the sudden loss of heritage and club culture without consulting then was very deattaching, and the current ambient in the stadium that nobody asked for in the first place isn't the best. Changing the club crest hasn't even been good for global marketing, with the club recording record-braking low sales and being forced to create conmemorative shirts and pieces of clothing with the old badges in order to achieve sales. The club has neglected the fans for the past few years, and they have been very lucky to have Simeone who has guaranteed success for the last decade- but once the club falls and finds themselves struggling financially they'll appeal to sentiment, like they have done in the past. The owners, who took control of the club illegally, are also lucky to have an incredibly commited and loyal fanbase who hates them but will be there no matter what due to their love for the club, but this is just another example of a club slowly murdered due to modernitasation. Football clubs are not brands, and we should stop pretending otherwise.
Interesting. I do remember the protests and petition to change the crest back. The update seemed more like a modern refresh rather than a full rebrand. Was not aware of the issues with the management of the club, as they won La Liga fairly recently so assumed things were fine. Sounds like another classic case of treating a club like a business, and ignoring their fanbase
@@onwardsandupwards547 maybe it was a bit excessive placing it at Juve's level, as there's still some sort of respect for the club's past, but for Atleti's romantic fanbase it was unforgivable. Atleti has done very well in the past decade but its mostly thanks to Simeone, who has lead the team to their most recent La Liga title in 2021 alongside the more senior and loyal players. (Oblak, Koke, Savić, Giménez...) It's an interesting case as its one of the only "rebranded" clubs whose fanbase is still demanding a return to the classic way, the ultras are currently on an animation strike due to this aswell. We'll see who prevails- the owners and the brand, or the fans and the passion.
Hmm never saw this as being similar. Even though they use their drivers like fashion models. I think it's sightly different as in this case a sponsor is taking control of a team. Similar to BAR and Andrea Mode? Where a sponsor is the owner of a team and using it a marketing vehicle

Ahh, for whatever reason I always got my wires crossed with Madrid being the capital of Spain, so thought Milan was the capital of Italy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The new Juventus logo looks more like "jj" than a single "j"
I love those Venice kits
Love these video's as a starting graphic designer.

Amazing video! Love looking forward to your uploads and fair wait to see where your channel goes :)
Quality vid mate. Keep the work up!🙌
Was hoping you'd mention AlphaTauri in F1. I know it's slightly different as they're part of the Redbull family, but what're you thoughts on them?
