OMG! Heated floor !! Excellent feature in Canada. You did very well for your budget, it is not cluttered, nicely decorated and clean. Your house has personality and looks lived in. I dont like Instagram style where it is not realistic, it is just a show. Good luck with your home. Even if the sleeping loft is a bit low, you have the sofa to rely on if need be. Having sleeping options is a good thing. The view from the windows makes your home cheery, very nice.

Ok so where to dump the ashes a new design so the toilet drops the paper for you how to use the propane instead of the electric to save money or get the wattage down somehow and you have a perfect toilet that will last for generations

Can you explain after getting the spline in place, how the edge is so perfectly cut. I can’t see the cane edge after the spline is in place? How did it disappear? I hope I’m explaining what I mean. Thank you

I am surprised to hear that floor heating is efficient. Does the whole floor heat up? There are small ceramic cube heaters that set on the floor and blow hot air at your at floor level, but the heat rises to warm up the rest of your body. But it's localized to where you are sitting/standing (as opposed to the entire floor).

This was a great video. The cleaning cycle is way over the top and the bi-annual cleaning is a tremendous nightmare. Thank you for sharing! We have a Separett composting toilet in our RV (we tried Nature's Head and HATED it because of all the reasons that you mentioned). The separate is pretty easy. It has a large bucket with a liner (they do sell bags, but we just use a regular 13 gallon kitchen trash bag) that everything goes into (you can use regular toilet paper and everything). When you sit (everyone must sit), a trap door opens and the solid stuff goes into the bucket and the trap door closes when you stand up. Periodically you lift out the bucket, tie off the plastic bag and dispose of the solids. Liquid waste goes down a tube and either into a separate bucket or into a drain or whatever. You should spray or pour some water in the liquids area just to clean out the pipe. We like this toilet so far because it's easy to clean (just wipe it down with your cleaning supplies) and easy to use. It may still freak out some users, but after the Nature's Head, this thing is like a regular toilet. I love that it doesn't waste water. If it does start to smell, just take out the bucket and dispose of the solids and you're all cleaned up. Here's a link to the one that we have. There are lots of videos out there. Hey! Thanks a lot for providing each and every single piece of information looks like you have covered all the aspects of parking a tiny home. I was just wondering about if we can find some locations to park the ready houses we have on Amazon but now it looks like the idea is just not about finding the location but it is gonna be a huge project to make it look like a living place. I’m not saying that the video was not encouraging but finding parking spot for tiny house comes with a lot of hustle and less comfort maybe. I live in Guelph and looking to find something suitable. I use to have nice house but prices of everything got out of hand and wages didn't raise as much so i moved into trailer i bought a for $25 thousand in Barrie area then watching alternative low cost living ideas on UA-cam i seen people living on boats so i bought a very inexpensive boat $4 thousand so im really in a delema between the two inexpensive lifestyles my boat is in a all year round marina Pickering area and my trailer is in a year round campground near Barrie

Personally I’m a fan of the little touches that make a house a cosy & inviting space. Great thing about a tiny house is making unique to suit your needs😊 Looking at your home I can see the quality of your build & the high spec you actually received, Really Well Done!!! I’m impressed. Despite your issues with the builder & it looks like you got a very good result for the money you paid I built my tiny house 6yrs ago in Australia with an Independent Builder. Despite having worked in the Design & Construction Industry & doing Build Admin & Budget still had my fair share of obstacles & went over budget by $15,000. It’s all history now & love my little home as I’m sure you love yours .

Unless your a horse and sleep standing up or has crazy nightmares i don't see the issue with the height of it because that window when you wake up to the view of the river is beautiful and the bed is queen size so lots of room to stretch and move around so its almost perfect 👍

I think if we own our property here we should be allowed to live in trailer or tiny home as long as its certified safe regardless of the size the laws in Ontario are very stupid because i can legally live in my tiny sailboat in a marina in Pickering Ontario twelve months of the year with no issues but laws on tiny home living in Ontario really stupid
