I am so lucky that I've found your channel! I started dreaming about having a tiny house during COVID (when I discovered the movement) and after a while I forgot about it. Now I am back at dreaming about it! 🥰 So many things attract me about a tiny house, but when I tell others most people look at me like I am insane. 😔 There are so many great things about a tiny house (I have a architect BA) but I do know is not only flowers... A lot of people that live in tiny houses talk about that, but no one seem to mention the need for a car and living far from amenities like grocery stores and pharmacies... practical daily shops that we need. I am very afraid of getting a tiny house and having to live far from everything (even tho I love nature and the appeal of being in a quieter place) and regretting it because now I would have to drive everywhere (kindda of hate driving). What is your opinion about it? I also don't see many people that live in a tiny house but close to central areas... do you know of any cases like that? I also live in Canada, Toronto!! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us!!! 🤩😜
Thank you for sharing your experience! I had to learn how to drive and get my license in order to move here. I literally didn't even learn how until I was 29 years old cause I always relied on public transit or rode my bike! I have a video about Sustainable living in the City vs. the Country that might interest you! It's an old video, the quality is not great, thinking of revisiting that topic. Also for sure check out my videos on where you CAN park a tiny house, because truly where I am now was the only 1 of 10000 options I explored that worked, not because I chose it, but because of legal barriers that stood in the way. Most people won't share publicly where they are if they are close to central areas because they can get evicted if a neighbor finds out and files a complaint (I've seen it happen to multiple people across the country).
i’ve been waiting to hear your thoughts on this!!
Thanks for watching dude! 🐦💙
