I’ll admit, I had doubts about that Bakelite handle repair, but you managed to pull it off. The only thing I would suggest is to have moved it to the singular pull for the secretary part of the desk, and not tried to set it right next to one of the originals. Otherwise, great restoration! I was really impressed with how well barkeeper’s friend cleaned up the interior.

That cupboard will serve its family for generations to come. Well done.

Fantastic restoration! So many new options to restore these days. I would consider myself a restorer not a flipper. I love the history of antiques and try to honor the person who made it. I too had to give up the my skates. At almost 70 I changed it up to dancing with grandchildren. Thanks for sharing snippets of your family life💖💖💖💖💖
