Omg!! First of all let's applaud the maker of this piece for such a lovely design!! Then let's acknowledge that stunning wood grain revealed under the sad damaged finish!! How about a shout out to Bar Keepers Friend and Restore A Finish (miracle in a can) for bringing the interior back alive!! Of course Gilboys NEVER fails to impress!! And you, the maestro, bringing it all together perfectly!! I could watch your work all day!! Of course Sonny making cookies with his mama was a wonderful bonus!!

What a great piece of furniture. It's so unique in this day and age. That was very clever of you to use wood filler to repair the handle. I did not think it would work. Then you were extra clever in your coloring of the repair. It's the color that really hides the repair material. It definitely looks like the other intact handles.

We now reside in the UK but visit the beautiful NZ for 6 weeks over summer.
