Thanks for that! It’s not explained explicitly in Legends, but the scale mimics the dynamic crosshair setting in the PC version. Using the tick marks and shell flight counter really can make a difference! Be warned that some might call you a hacker, though! 🤣

The techniques in these three videos mirror using the “dynamic” crosshair settings on PC when it comes to leading targets, etc. The specific one I use on PC is “nomogram classic” which can be applied to your client with the World of Warships Mod Station provided by Wargaming. There are also some other crosshair options in Mod Station with an array of lines at various angles that can help with hitting angled targets, too!

Hi! You can mouse over a target and use the “X” key to lock your main battery guns on the target of your choice. Mousing over a target and using “CNTRL - Left Click” will manually lock your secondaries. Hope that helps!

@@markdonnelly1397 I’ve been playing a lot more PC than Legends of late. If you are pretty new, I’d just work on trying out different lines to get a sense of what kind of ships you like to play. USN Battleships, German Cruisers, and IJN/USN Destroyers are some popular lines for newer players. Don’t try to play a lot of games above T6/T7 until you have a good handle on the overall game. It make take 1,000 to 2,000 games to feel really comfortable at all. Lastly, if you spend real $, premium time is your best bet and is always half off for a full year around Black Friday. I stuck to buying only one or two premium ships early on in T5-T7. Good luck!

It's definitely the team mates I don't know how it's got so bad the past week or two like that Fletcher running from their dd when he 2 bbs for support. I put it on the other night first game people abandoned their side and all bunched in middle of the map in spawn, second game on Atlantic our dds one spawned at c other at mid both sailed right along the spawn upto the edge of the map went around the big Island into those channel areas on to the enemy's side sailed straight at an Alaska got radared and sunk I just finished that game turned it off and put football manager back on for my FA cup third round tie Vs Middlesbrough with my local non team Chorley in division 6 trying to win that would be less painful then putting up with the morons on ships atm lol

​@@mattsmith5421 Dude - that Fletcher game almost made me quit on the spot! Can't remember something like that happening in a Tier 8 game for a long time. One long standing issue I have with Legends is pushing people to higher tier ships before they are ready by compressing the Tiers, the Bureau, etc. Ugh!

@@VannKrakenGaming those people just lose their way to top tier so it will happen no matter what, my problem is the people themselves I can't understand how people get to tier 7 and 8 and haven't learned a thing or even developed the slightest bit of sense of how to play a ship type in the months it's taken to get there.

@@mattsmith5421 I think part of that is losing there way up the tech tree to a degree, as you said, but they can also get there faster in Legends than on PC. It's not ever going to change, really, but it is definitely frustrating at times.

Awesome - I really hope this helps! For my setup, which is medium armor and no life staff, using the dodge keys around the Priest and Bear (which give s - or brief invulnerability) and using all three health consumables are what make it work for me. Good luck!

Glad you found it helpful! I did a lot of chest runs to build up my expertise/gear score, crafting mats, and gold balance on my first character. It made doing expeditions, wars, and OPR more fun versus just jumping straight into them with a low 500 rating. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment - I really appreciate it!

I feel you! If you can time the dodges and when to use your consumables in the tough alley with the Priest and the Bear you will make it! Also, you can bring along a life staff to drop some heals on yourself, too. You can also join a chest run to Myrk and one of the Corrupted Breaches is right next to the "Pilgrim's Ascent" path I show in my route - you should be able to go up the path to the fast travel and the Tempest Heart's expedition while folks are taking out the Corrupted.

@@VannKrakenGaming i try global chat & no response. Maybe i play in fresh server, & many players skip the tempest. In here players fun play in dungeon lazarus, genesis, dynasty

@@ghessa_liem6523 Tempest's Heart is the least run dungeon because it takes longer to play. Laz and Gen especially are run a lot because they are relatively quick and a good way to build Expertise. I think the design of Tempest and feel of it are fantastic, though, so keep trying to get a group together. It's worth it!

Lots of benefits from these runs, especially if you play solo! When the game went through its lull earlier this year my first company disbanded and the server population was pretty low, so I did ECR's regularly and took my character from a low 500 gear score to over 600 in about three weeks. When that was done, I started doing broader content like expeditions, OPR, some Wars, etc. I also had a ton of craft mats banked, so I was able to get to 200 in Engineering and Armoring quite easily. I'm really glad you have been enjoying New World! I think it's great and completely agree that it is well worth the money. It seems like AGS is truly committed to improving the game and releasing a consistent stream of new content, so I think the future looks bright! Hope you have a great holiday!

There are a lot more things that open up in the game at endgame, but it definitely makes sense to knock out a few things first to get off on the right foot. I may be a bit sick in that I really don't mind the grind from 500 to 625 - maybe it's just getting the constant notifications of progress on Expertise that keeps it interesting for me.
