We've made it to final chapter in our Easy Aiming Guide, which offers a couple more targeting skill tips, and then moves into the realm of tactical decision making! We cover some really important concepts here, including making sure you have a good target lock, the value of prioritizing destroyers first, identifying and picking off low health ships, and how to intentionally set fires on multiple enemy ships for maximum damage and impact in a match. If you've landed on this video first, don't miss the first two episodes in this series, which you can find here. Thanks for watching and let us know if you have any questions or can think about anything we missed!
Awesome! I really hope this one helps people out. The shoot DD's first concept is about as important as it gets. Take away the enemies DD's and you are probably at a greater than 75% win rate immediately!
Good Stuff VK- I saw you in game about a week ago when was running Charles Martel, u were in Kutuzov, unfortunately we did not get to duel much, my team evaporated and that was about it. Lol
I do remember recognizing you in that game! ! It is on the stream from that day - I think it was on Estuary and you took a few bites out of my ship! You definitely had the best game on your team as I remember. Hope you are doing well and thanks for stopping by!
I am definitely open to suggestions! I think I might go back to doing a review on more consumables - how to use smoke is next up on my list. Planes have more utility for spotting than people probably realize, too. Radar is another one. If I do ship reviews, it might be more tactically focused on specific in game situation or strategy or back to the "HardShips" that are more difficult or different to play, again. Looks like Suzuya, Paolo Emilio, and ZF-6 might fall into that category. I'm sure Pyotr Bagration will, as well, when it comes out. So many people already doing regular ship reviews (classic sail and voiceover style), I'm not sure if I am adding much there. Also considering doing something about how to spend your real $$ wisely, too. Staying away from the gambling/lottery crate stuff and staying focused on Campaigns and premium time - or being patient and hitting sales. Most importantly, I just want to help people get better at the game and get the most out of their time playing it!
Question: you are in a bb with ap loaded. You spot a fire a spammer cl showing broadside; a full health dd; a one shot bb showing broadside and a full health cv at the same time. All of them are in effective range. Who would you shoot? :)
Good scenario! I would say it depends a bit... If I can get a sure kill on the BB in that case, I would probably take them out if I were the only ship in my area to get a salvo off - because I can't kill the DD with one salvo with AP loaded and it's not a sure thing on the CL or the CV, either. So in this case, I would take a piece off the board before he can heal (especially if it is a BB like a Nelson or Conqueror). However, if I had a couple other support ships with me (gunboat DD's or cruisers) that had shots on the DD and it's not likely he could break detection immediately, I might shoot the DD if I was pretty sure we could kill it as a group. The next shot would then be to target the BB and get it out.
Need some advice. I'm running a sniper, heavy hitter build for my German BBs. I have Scharnhorst as the commander ranked at 16, legendary 4; skills are brawler, porcupine, firefighter, master mechanic, and will to rebuild. For inspirations I have Cunningham at rank 16, legendary 2. German BBs are heavy hitters for AP and I want to cause more damage. My question is, should I go with Ciliax rank 16, legendary 2 (+4.5% AP shell damage) or Jaujard rank 12, legendary 2 (+4.2% AP Shell Penetration multiplier)? thank you
I know the German BB's are still getting sorted at the higher tiers with regard to adjustments - Bismarck and Tirpitz just got dispersion (shell grouping) buffs, which should help a bit more with longer range gunnery. You just have to keep in mind that sniper builds for German BB's are always going to troll you at times because they are not super accurate ships over 13 or 14 km in general, and operate best in the 10 to 14 km range before you sense an opening to get into brawling range and put your secondaries and torps into the mix. From a Commander skills perspective, I like that you have rounded out Scarnhorst's and Cunningham's accuracy base traits with some survival buffs that should help you tank in brawls and recover from damage (which the German BB's give up a lot of, especially on the superstructure). I think that is a good balance. As for the remaining inspiration, you might want to go for a test with Ciliax first? It would be great to have the increase in damage output if you can get it because it's best to fire AP almost all the time in the German BB's. However, if you see that you are breaking/bouncing a lot of AP shells, you might want to change it up and go to JJ. The effectiveness of your AP will also have a lot to do with where you are aiming on the hull and if targets are angled - you max out with 15" guns in the Kriegsmarine, so I tend to aim more for the upper belt and superstructure unless I have flat sides less than 10 km away. Hope that helps!
Hi! You can mouse over a target and use the “X” key to lock your main battery guns on the target of your choice. Mousing over a target and using “CNTRL - Left Click” will manually lock your secondaries. Hope that helps!
@@markdonnelly1397 I’ve been playing a lot more PC than Legends of late. If you are pretty new, I’d just work on trying out different lines to get a sense of what kind of ships you like to play. USN Battleships, German Cruisers, and IJN/USN Destroyers are some popular lines for newer players. Don’t try to play a lot of games above T6/T7 until you have a good handle on the overall game. It make take 1,000 to 2,000 games to feel really comfortable at all. Lastly, if you spend real $, premium time is your best bet and is always half off for a full year around Black Friday. I stuck to buying only one or two premium ships early on in T5-T7. Good luck!

@@VannKrakenGaming Thanks, my answer would be bb as well. Just remove the guns.
Never a bad choice to get what amounts to a highly likely kill!

Great video but as they say you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink
Well, even if we get a few it will be worth it! Thanks for checking out the video and for the feedback!
how do you target lock if you're playing on a pc?

@@VannKrakenGaming thanks buddy. i didn't know this. I'll give it a try. any other pointers for us paying on PC??
