Mazda's Bose system is really good for the price of their vehicles.

Honestly, I love the Bose systems in Hondas. My mom drives a 2024 CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring, best sound system I’ve ever heard.

In Canada as far as I can tell the ML is only available in the top two trims approx 15000 dollars above the starting price so the quality of the base system is important, as amazing as ML is 15k is a big jump in price.

I just rented this car on a work trip and it is hands down the best sound system I’ve ever heard. Bass is seriously insane. B Tier is a joke. I’ve heard all of the luxury systems for validation.

Your D rank and comments about the Stellantis HK system matches my experience with the system in the 2018 Giulia i used to have. It wasn't awful, but it never felt particularly powerful enough or crisp enough to really be wowing. It definitely didn't sound as good as my G37 bose with an upgraded head unit or the HK systems in some other cars I've driven.

Just wondering which system you liked better - Harman Kardon 8 speaker system in Kia Sportage, or Bose 8 speaker system in Hyundai Tucson. Looking at both vehicles, not much difference, so the sound may be the final decider...

What you need to do is to put the bass volume all the way down in the EQ, then you need to put a external subwoofer and then you ll feel the diference…

I have a Ram with an HK system. I think it is better than my Lyriq with and AKG system.

At 6:13 you mentioned SXM. I don’t believe the 2025 MDX has SXM. Which is a big disappointment. I know you can CarPlay but you lose the ability to “channel surf” (go through the channels like radio).

I hated my base sound system. It’s awful…I can barely hear people when speaking on the phone.

I do admit, my Volvo's B&W is by far the best audio I've ever heard. Car or not.

I tested a Mazda CX5, the Bose System it's just great , sound bass and a lot of power, and it's a great car to drive lots of torque and power in the Turbo option. I may buy a 2020 CX5 for the Sound system and fun car to drive.

My partner has the Mark Levinson in the Lexus NX. Im disappointed in that system too. Always feels like it needs adjusting. You gave it an A as well. I just stream music from my phone (wireless and corded) and no idea about the lossless stuff. But for someone who just likes nice audio, I find it lacking

I think if car with a premium sound system is going to have an actual subwoofer, then it should always have a separate control specifically for the subwoofer outside of treble, midrange, and bass.

I’d get so annoyed with how often the Blind Spot Monitor blinks rapidly while driving. Like just illuminate once and only blink rapidly if you have the turn signal in that direction like other car manufacturers - no need to induce a seizure every 20 seconds.

Maybe its not worth the money but it sure sound great. I sold my x5 with the hk and ordered the x5 60i with theB &W. I love it

Sucks. The cx-50 is *significantly* noisier than the cx-5. so even the bose system is challenged by wind and tire noise.
