they will never fix it, the main problem with this game is maxx c tbh, and ladder climb ppl can demote them selves so the ladder is not a sign of rank *ppl demote them selves so when reset happens they get more gems and can get up to master again (neither of these issues will be fixed)

I was into yugioh back in the day (early 2000s) and recently decided to see about any new or most recent yugioh games to play! I’ve played Master Duel the past few weeks and my zombie deck with no synchro or link cards has given me around 12 wins but I’ve lost triple that! Personally I wish there was like an old school mode for more strategic duels and I’ve encountered many players online who still play this way and the duels are so much more fun honestly! When opponents take 40 minutes to chainlink combos that summons a whole field of cards in 1 turn kinda sucks lol! A dozen wins with a deck containing no synchro or link cards & having over a dozen wins isn’t too bad for someone who hasn’t played yugioh in 20 years imo! Also I’m learning & getting better with each duel!

Spirit Pends, give a value or defensive reason to play them. ‘When a Spirit returns to hand from the Main or Extra Monster zone, Special Summon a Spirit Token with the same level, attribute, and ATK/DEF with “When this monster leaves the Main/Extra Monster Zone, you may Special Summon a Monster from hand with the same Level, Attribute, Type, and ATK/DEF”.’ Lots of words, but…I mean, a ghost leaving behind a spectral copy of themselves to fuck with the opponent is kinda on theme, and gives you a reason to play any of them
