Great video wasn’t expecting Zeta content!
Despite being such a rancid guy I did sympathise with Jerid, even if only because he felt very human (or just pathetic).
Kamille watching in horror at Jerid’s death is one of the most effective moments in zeta to me, no relief at the defeat of his rival, it all just feels so tragic.

As Jerid's #1 H8R, I commend you for your brilliant analytical and introspective opinions of Gundam.
The fact you also make brilliant Yu-Gi-Oh TCG content... 🤌🏿
Will you be my foil? 🥺

I always wondered how this idiot kept getting promoted despite constantly being beaten. You'd think the Titans wouldn't even tolerate the amount of failures he had, yet he kept failing upwards because the plot said so!

Been Watching Shinta’s SRW reviews (SUPER ROBOT WARS). That amalgamates SEVERAL Mecha themed shows.
And Honestly, I can See where he’s Coming from when he says he Hates the UC Gundam Timeline!
When you have Moronic Sh*t heads like Jerid being written by Tomino. You know you’re in for a Bad Time!
Tomino Can be both the Best and Worst of influences in Gundam’s 60 year run! The fact that he creates these horrible (Double-down) asshole characters who really don’t have a leg to stand on Says A lot About what to Expect from his writing.

I always viewed Jerid failing upwards as a deliberate choice narrativly. Zeta, as a story, tackles the agency of women. Or rather, the lack of it. For the record, I dont they did a great job with that, but that's beside the point right now. What I think the idea was, everyone better left the titans, died, or had anterior motives. He was pretty much the lowest common denominator.
That said, you're absolutely right when you critized him for taking up too much screen time. In some ways, he made the development of other characters worse from time to time. Even if I still like the character.
