Accept the fact that Xbox isn't wanted in the Gaming Industry

Consoles are definitely good enough for me and I have a high end PC as well. It all depends on the game, some PC games scale well above the console version and it looks like a night and day difference, but other games I struggle to tell the difference in terms of visuals.

I wanted to not pay for Sony’s ps5 membership this year……apparently they delete accounts for inactivity???? What?!!! To be completely fair, i tried to research and found people saying it happened to them and others saying it doesnt. Regardless, NOPE!! Was level 40 in Helldivers 2 and bought it again on pc. Bought a bunch of steam games this past winter sale…..repurchased a lot of my collection for less than $200!!! Easily could have been close to $1500+ at retail price. Yea man, PC is pretty freaking awesome! Running Helldivers 2 native at max settings on a 4080super. Averaging 62 fps. Image looks SOOOOO much sharper. Next upgrade is the TV. Can only do 120hz at 1080p and 4k at 60ps. It’s a 2017 Sony Tv (Bravia X930e. Really good tv for the time it released. Still looks amazing! But i want higher fps panel now. My monitor is 1440p 144hz tho.

I still game at 1080p, because I doubt I'd be able tell a difference on a 4k display

God of war doesn’t run at 120fps lol it gets to the 70s at most and usually drops down to 60FPS and below when combat starts

As a PC gamer, 120fps is the minimum standard for me. I don't mind 60fps for certain games that are emulated but I like to play my games at 120fps or higher. This has been my standard for years now. Not sure about consoles though. I come from the Xbox360 generation as it was my last console.

I picked up an S for starfield and elder scrolls 6 if I expected to play everything under the sun I would of "ponied up" for the series x, I never figured there would be a lot of parity just looking at the difference in specs. If something drops I feel is that amazingly worth it then I'll trade up and save for the X. Doc to answer your question about games that can and can't there is a lot of technical nuance both you and i don't understand go reach out to engineers and developers personally to find the answer you want if you're not just trolling

Dragons dogma 2, Farm simulator 25. Not out yet but will be soon Monster hunter wilds will be 30fps and I heard Avowed will also be 30 fps when it's released. That's all I can think of at the moment

The reason you hate HDR on PC is because AMD cards cant do it right. If you get a Nvidia card the RTX HDR feature will nail it every single time.

Consoles are fine. They aren't enough for me though. I like having my own hardware options and options of how I play the game that isn't just 2 modes. Also, I will never sit here and pretend as if 60FPS is a guarantee on the consoles it isn't, but I can always get 60FPS on my PC though.

Building my Gaming PC was the best decision this generation. Its something i had in my mind I'd do since the 360 days and finally did, not because i was unhappy with Xbox but i was Very unhappy with MS policies as it pertains to gaming and PC offers the ability to fix those policies via Mods.

Consoles are definitely enough and they're some of the best ever, only letdown by the lack of games. Personally i went to PC due to MS policies i didn't agree with and PC offered me the ability to counter/remove/Fix said policies with Mods.

With consoles you get whatever the devs allow you to get, no need to really play with settings.

They can’t even make the PS5 version run properly at 60 fps since they are using frame generation at 30 fps to reach that target which is NOT recommended by AMD or NVIDIA lmao !

The reason why you don’t feel frame rate dips on console is because of motion blur and better optimization

Got a prebuilt pc over a week ago. I’m perfectly happy with. And the reason is,the availability of games you can’t get on either consoles. I don’t mess with anything. Go with the recommend setting. If it plays looks good I’m good. So there is nothing wrong with prebuilt,folks need to get off their high horse. Some want race car and others are fine a Toyota. Because it gets the job done for them. P.s know this didn’t exactly have and thing to with video. Just comment to something you said

I dont think the devs lied per se, I think they're just out of touch. I like Bethesda, but Starfield felt outdated at times, so it wouldn't surprise me if they genuinely felt like 30 fps was ok. I truly believe Ninja Theory was ok with HB2 being 30 fps. I'm not sure what lie you're referring to with Redfall, but they probably did lie...🤷🏿‍♂️ ...just realized Doc failed his own challenge. 😂

most pc gamers only have 8gb gpus and the series s has 10gb of shared ram its enough you just need experienced dev teams to optimized right.

If the indie market was bigger on consoles, games were cheaper and online access was free, consoles would be in a much better place.

Tbh arkham knight to me looks ok im not impressed by the grittyness of it. But ima graphics snob i olayed it on xsx and the game look so horrible i just wish it had a mod for 4k resolution and it would be cool but the game itself just bored me

You don’t feel the dips on console because of VRR, especially on Xbox. PS5 has worse VRR than the Xbox One 😂.

Dragons Dogma 2 is at 30 unless you want to pay $800 for a PS5 Pro and get a wobbly 45-60. The reason I have a high end PC, is the image quality and I want the best possible graphical settings. Yes the consoles can hit 60 but the image quality is usually not that great in those performance modes.

Maybe it’s time to upgrade your RX7600 or your GPU if you want better performance. It’s funny people like to say Walmart PC but Walmart is actually a good place to upgrade. Right now theres a RTX 4070 super I’m eying thats on roll back for $499. Original price $600

If I remember the lower then low setting was the ray tracing which not too long after digital foundry videos there was an update for the series x that improved the ray tracing
