The side by side talking is such a handy tip. It's true how it seems to be less confrontational somehow... doing a drawing class or crafts, it's amazing how much people chat in a relaxed way between comfortable silence

The mindfulness free courses are no longer offered by FutureLearn and I wondered why.... Future Learn say that Monash University is no longer one of their partners yet the Monash website directs enquiries to Futurelearn. I am really sorry that the courses are no longer available as I found them a huge inspiration and valuable resource.

I wonder if mindfulness is better than TM for addiction.
Learnt a lot of this through the World Community for Christian Meditation. Yoga was also a very useful medium to learn.
I fully agree in what was called mind over matter or thinking well makes you well. Logically, to dwell on things surely create harmful negativity?s
I find that when I go about my normal day in a mindful way or meditative state, my mind has more attention to the task at hand and I am actually doing the tasks better because the required information will come to mind

I've finished mindfulness for wellbeing and peak performance maybe since a year and now I'm taking the second course and I haven't practiced mindfulness formally and on a regular basis but in the same time I've never thought that a simple skill like mindfulness can be of that advantage in my life , so really thank you for this amazing opportunity ! ❤️

Our advice, keep practising with us via 'Maintaining a Mindful Life' and 'Mindfulness for Wellbeing Peak (www.futurelearn.com/courses/mindfulness-life) and Performance on FutureLearn' (www.futurelearn.com/courses/mindfulness-wellbeing-performance), and subscribe to this channel, if you haven't already.

The problem with Mindfulness and Meditation is that they are only coping mechanisms. They will certainly never bring the kind of change that’s desperately needed in the world today.
