I have those same two fabrics, the crows and the checks. I bought them at a shop in SC. We'll be playing LCR game with floss at my fall retreat. Everyone will bring 3 skeins of fall colored floss. It should be fun!

I think you mentioned about threading the needle and using the loop end. I just fold over the loose ends a bit and wallah, it goes right through the eye of the needle. I used to try and try with the loose ends going through eye and that didn’t t work out too well, LOL!! Okay, I need to finish watching.

I decided to take today as an all day stitchy day, catching up on FlossTube videos as I have gotten behind. It’s been a super busy summer. Your video was one of the ones on my list. The patriotic Santa by Twin Peak Primitives is gorgeous. The patriotic star Santa ornament turned out really cute. Have fun on your trip!
