What a perfect way to finish off a great day out with my hubby by watching one of my favourite Flosstubes. Loved all the stitching. So much inspiration. Kathy, your bowl is beautiful. Definitely worth going back for. Sending best wishes to Grace from a former midwife. Take care, best wishes from 🇮🇪
Thanks for sharing so much stitchy goodness! I’m going to have to watch this video again…with a bigger note pad this time! The Stitchers Prayer is a wonderful chart! Take care! 🌻
Lovely stitches ladies! Thanks for the video as always. And keeping me company while I stitch. Thanks as well for the chocolate cravings and enabling 😂
I wish I would have kept all my old Just Cross Stitch magazines. They use to have beautiful Christmas stockings and stuff in them . I stopped stitching for a long time and now back into it deeply
No matter how lengthy your videos are I love watching both of you. You both do beautiful stitching and I love your choice of patterns. I also love how you share what you have found as far as other videos, other shops or designers. Such a great resource, thank you. Looking forward to the baby arrival!
I went to Hobby Lobby today (I make trips there way too frequently), got in checkout line and there was nothing in my cart!!! 😂 I never leave there with nothing!!! Glad it wasn’t a long line!
Loved seeing all the stitching today! Missy, Turkey Hollow looks great and the pumpkin is so pretty! Kathy, the colors on Joy and Good Cheer and Winter Rose Manor are beautiful! All of your talk about corn on the cob is making me run off to the farmers market later to get some for dinner tonight! 😂. Hope Grace continues to do well😊
I am a fan of Jane and Julie of Running with Scissors as well. I will have to look for their episode of Shepherd’s Bush stockings. Missi I have done 9 of those Shepherds Bush stockings for my family and they are my favorite holiday decoration during the holidays! They are gorgeous altogether on the mantle. Can’t wait to see yours finished up!
Kathy, the Barefoot Needlearts retreats in February are wonderful! I have been to the last Two and plan on signing up for next year. The sign up is October 21st. Great shop and the retreats are so much fun.
Love your flosstube! Been watching a while & Lawdy..I was not subscribed! I AM NOW! Best wishes on baby watch! Love all your stitching, goygeeeus!! 🧵🪡🍁
I cannot believe I am just discovering you ladies! I live in Massachusetts so New Englanders unite!! Just FYI, there are also retreats put on by Stitcher’s Hideaway. She puts on very nice retreats held here in Massachusetts and also a nice one every December in Mystic, Connecticut. The venue for most is the Publick House and it’s very nice.
Missy Turkey Hollow is stunning & Baby Girls stocking will be a beautiful keepsake! Kathy you are so close to finishing Rosewood Manor, what a pretty piece! Praying baby girl gets here right on time & for Grace as anxiously waits....as you all anxiously wait! So exciting!
Always fun to hang out with you ladies -- love your stories and seeing what you're stitching. Best wishes on the baby watch, such an exciting time. Happy Crafting! -Carolyn
Just catching up after going to Summer School. Hope the baby comes soon! Loved your Stacy Nash finish, Missy! That was a big one! Kathy, your Halloween charts make me want to stitch Halloween too! I am currently stitching on the "Stitcher's Prayer" too. I love it! Also, your "Jingle All the Way" is so cute!
Missy and Kathy............. Stoney Creek has a website........... you can get back issues as well as current issues of the magazine. And Missy, I believe my Mom has done 14 of the Shepherd's Bush Christmas stockings - she is done! LOL.... so be careful what you are starting..... everyone in the family might want one!! Yours will be a treasured gift for Baby Girl! Thanks again for sharing........ Congrats on finishing your Turkey Hollow Farm too! I just finished Plum Street's American Sampler - it's at the framer now. Feels great to finish those epic pieces......... Thanks ladies.......... looking forward to the next episode.
I have completed 12 Shepherd Bush Stockings now - the first one was about 27 years ago!! What I've learned is that you should put fusible backing on before you attach the embellishments. My more recent finished stockings look so much better than my original stocking. I've used velvet for the back on many of them, but have also used other material. I'm hoping for a new grand- niece or nephew within the next year, have 4 stockings ready to go :)
Another great video, lots of stitchy content and fun. Missy, I believe DMC 731 is discontinued and is replaced with 732. Kathy, love the bowl you picked up at the prison store! I haven't been there in years, looks like I need to plan a day trip.
Such a fun episode and SO many beautiful things! Missy, the stocking for baby E is coming right along and is darling, and Kathy, I love the color you used for the words in Good Cheer. Praying all continues to go well for Grace in these final days/weeks and that Ashley continues to settle in to her new home. Have a great weekend, ladies, and happy stitching 💜
Your videos keep me company as I stitch in the dark….I love the natural flow and how much info you pack into a short time. I actually couldn’t lay my hands on the Stoney Creek magazine as I did my flosstube Tuesday….I stitched and completed the stocking on the front of the magazine for my fathers room. Lots of backstitch but it came out so well and you are right, lots of other patterns in the magazine work up very well. Thanks ladies.
Have y’all seen Small Town Needleworks? they have designs (Kim the mom designs) and a floss tube (with Jade her daughter). They have some super cute designs and some that are coming out for market. They are also trying to get their patterns into shops as well. Super glad to have found ya 😊
On the house corner of Rosewood Manor, Carol, Salt Box Stitcher just did some straight stitches going down and it looks good. Like changes others are doing for ideas. You’re coming along nicely!
Always enjoy your Flosstube. There were a few close enabling moments at times but I'm sitting too close to my basket full of WIPS that screams, "I'm going to burst! Don't you even think about putting something else in here!"
I really enjoyed video. I love your Turkey Hollow Farm. I’ve watched Shelly from Welcome Stitchery stitch hers and between the two of you I may have to stitch it. I love Chris from the Camping Stitcher. I’m happy she’s retired and has time to design. Annie The Proper Stitcher has some beautiful designs as well. I hope that JCS magazine does a revamp of their magazine. I’m up for renewal and I am hesitant but maybe I’ll renew for one more year. The Halloween edition is great so maybe they will make some changes. I hope everything goes well with Baby E. Thanks for sharing all the things.
Now I want chocolate!!! Love the stitching your both do, I am not a Halloween stitcher but love fall and Thanksgiving. The videos are great, thanks for sharing your time with us.
Enjoyed your video today. Be cautious about putting a nickname on the stocking. I had what I thought was a great nickname picked out for my daughter but she and her friends had other ideas.
Hello ladies, another great sharing day. I am from IN. Our state inmates make our lic. Plates. As far as I know they don’t do anything else where they can make money. The Stoney creek mag is available at Jo Ann fabrics. Some Barnes and nobles carry also. I use to get it back in the 70s. Keep stitching.
Ladies what a great visit and absolutely loved all of the content. You two really make it so much fun😊That bowl is so beautiful, worth more than $14.00 for sure. Caroline Zook fromC Zook stitch stitched the Welcome friends you showed from the magazine
Great video ! Kathy I love your Halloween charts !🧡🧡 Missy I do the same put my calculations on a paper with my project, I also figure it with both 16 & 18 count fabrics. Then raid my stash first ! I am sure that she will arrive before your next video! The Halloween chart parade was fun to see! I have a few of the charts you showed. Missy, great finish on your Stacy Nash piece! You have a lot of ambitious starts planned, but you might need to hold off as I am sure that you will have your hands full becoming a grandma to Baby E! Your hands may be very busy holding her! Kathy I enjoyed seeing the bowl made by the inmates at th prison you visited. It i s beautiful, and what a deal for $14.00! Camden is such a beautiful place, and I am glad that you were able to get away! Wishing you both a great couple of weeks! I cannot believe Sept. is only 2 weeks away! I’m curious what you found as a benefit in doing the fusible fleece before embellishments? I need all the facts. 😉
When I moved here, this tee shirt said it all...The University of Iowa, Idaho City, Ohio. No one not from the Midwest can keep them straight.
Another great video, lots of stitchy content and fun. Missy, I believe DMC 731 is discontinued and is replaced with 732. Kathy, love the bowl you picked up at the prison store! I haven't been there in years, looks like I need to plan a day trip.

What is BOSME? Also how do you decide what you are going to stitch on and for how long do you stitch before you move on to another project?
BOSME is just our version of WIPGO we do with friends. We set our own “rules”.
