I’m just catching up after a rainy vacation at the Maine coast. Thank goodness for cross stitch😁 I have to say Mike’s Floss tubes are classic comedy! He reminds me of Tim Conway with his straight faced hysterical presentation. I do hope he finds the red he’s looking for!! I so look forward to someday pulling threads with you two❤❤
I enjoyed watching this video. Your mini- retreat sounded like the 6 of you really forged some lifelong friendships. Thanks for the reference to Helen D's tutorials on some finishing techniques. I'll be trying a few of them. Until next time...
Cathy…. I love that Candy Clause standup. You did an awesome job finishing it! I really need to get on the bandwagon and finish some of the FO‘s that I have completed. Missy, I also use Good Notes and I LOVE it! It has transformed my stitching, and made it so much easier.
What a wonderful idea. Ladies you make me happy when I watch (listen to while stitching) your videos. Love your relationship and kindness to tohers. Wish I could make it to Maine!!!

Great show ladies congratulations on starting your own retreat with your ladies from the library. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun loved all your stitching and of course I loved all your Hall

Hi Ladies! Fun video! I’m so excited for you to host your first retreat! That’s awesome! Wish Maine wasn’t so far from Idaho, I would be there for sure! Hopefully someday! Happy stitching til next time!! 🪡🧵🪡✂️✂️✂️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💕💕💕
I am stitching my camp project using distressed denim and love that floss! Stitching with magnifying light it looks like a blue cashmere! I went to Stitch Con A and loved every minute of it!!! Good luck with your retreat planning!
Congratulations to you and your group for the retreat. That's wonderful! Missy, love the husband Flosstube specials he is a hoot. I love the travel cases. I had dug my granny's out but haven't even began decorating it yet. These gave me some ideas. Thank you for sharing your time and talents with us especially on the 4th of July.
So excited about the retreat! I hope i can make it - would love to meet the two of you. Hoping to hear on here about the particulars as I don’t have IG. Thanks fir sharing your live for stitching!!!
I am glad I found you girls. I needed some newbies to watch. Let me say your husband is so so funny! Waiting to see if the other husband joins him! My husband passed in 2022 & he was the same way about my cross stitch. Maybe because I was quite when I stitch...lol. He could watch all those western that I never watched. Love seeing all your stitch progress.
When I saw how long this video was I contemplated not watching! But I just couldn’t walk away because I love you both. It was fun hearing about all your adventures and seeing all your stitching. Katy, that standup is adorable. I totally understand not giving it away. Congratulations on your retreat. Can’t wait to hear all the details. Hope you both had a great 4th.
Love Craft Gallery, wonderful Paula, and the town of Findlay! My daughter just graduated with her doctorate of OT from the University of Findlay in May. I have In His Image about halfway finished-- I need to get back to it.
Kathy your standup Santa is adorable, I wouldn't be able to give it either! The retreat before Stitch Con sounds amazing! I just about the Sweet Wing Studio retreat, i I live close to Pigeon Forge & am hoping to go. Your Maine Retreat sounds wonderful!
Love this episode! One of these days I’m going to a retreat! Love watching you two and Missys hubby! Lol😂 definitely a follower! Keep the stitching coming love it all!! 😊❤
I have never done a sampler but you are inspiring me to try one. A stitching retreat sounds great even though I live in NJ I would be willing to travel. I t would be a nice birthday treat for me that week.
I'm super excited to hear about your retreat! I'm also very thankful for our group of stitchers and feeling the love and community through our hobby. 😍💕
I settled in last night to enjoy this video but soon took a detour to view all of Mike’s too funny, enjoyable videos. :-) Glad you both had such a great time on your travels. Glad you and your library friends are planning a retreat in Maine. The Northeast needs more retreats. I will be going to Pam’s in October and fingers crossed, I hope I will be able to go to yours as well.
Oh my goodness....when you said "August, no April" my heart fluttered. I am in Maine every August. Close to Augusta (Belgrade Area) I thought, oh, I can go to my first retreat. Alas, probably cannot make it in April. I'm very excited for you two. You both exude kindness and love in your stitching and friendship. Thank you for coming into my little craft room and making me smile.
So glad you ladies got to visit Craft Gallery, I live just 28 miles south of Findlay and I just love going there. Kathy I don't blame you for wanting to hold on to that sweet Santa. Missy hope you will get your husband to put some stuff on UA-cam. I just do UA-cam and I have trouble keeping up with that.. Always enjoy watching you both.
Now that I'm going back to work, I can start to plan for retreats and this one would be great to be my first retreat. Been to Maine and would like to go back. Looking forward to seeing you soon
I just finished watching !!!! Long time fan girl 😂💕🧵 I’ve never been to a cross stitch retreat and…. We (hubby) have Maine on our places to visit . I think the starts might be lining up for me ! Can’t wait to hear about the details 💕🧵
I always enjoy watching you two! I had purchased "kinder than necessary" at country sampler in Spring Green, WI. I am about half way thru it snd and decided either I don't like my aida or the called for colors. I just purchased a different color aida hand-dyed and may just choose my own colors of floss. I'll be anxious to see Missy's progress. Love the chart and words.
Love seeing you two again so soon after your last episode! Missy, you were making me teary as you were talking about the blessings a good friend and community can be - it's so true! I'm so glad you had a wonderful time with your Petite Retreat group; thank you for sharing a glimpse into your adventures and shopping trips :) An upcoming retreat in Maine is so exciting!! Might give me an excuse to go visit my friend in Bangor and travel down to Augusta for those two days ☺ I love the organization you are supporting, too 📚 Thanks for all you do for the stitching community, ladies 💜
OMG! Mike is hilarious! I laughed so hard! I think he outed all of us! He needs his own channel. I can’t wait to see what he chooses to stitch on his 1/2 yard of Iguana with red thread.
Such wonderful adventures and memories you shared! Your Petite Retreat sounds like it was so amazing! Exciting times ahead with planning your retreat! Love everything you shared- projects, WIPS, haul, plans and etc, etc, etc.
I enjoy you guys so much!! So happy you got to see Honor Flight!!! My husband and I were both guardians to our dad's (his WW11 and mine Korean) Both have passed so we are blessed. In addition we both volunteered to be guardians to another vet. Toledo was a hub for NW Ohio many years!! His dad played in the band that welcomed the vets home after each flight! Such fun and emotion!!! I'm so proud I got to do this, especially as a veteran myself!! I love you guys have Patriotic souls!!! I'm glad you had so much fun in Ohio!! Isn't Teresa fun!!!! I hope to stitch with her again at another retreat, Beach Please 2024. I'm the weirdo who said how to pronounce Amy Bruekens name!! Cuz hubby Al and her husband Bill worked together 35 years or more!!! I love that you went to Craft Gallery!!!! Paula and Carlton are the best!!!! I hope I can meet the 2 of you sometime!!! I need to come to Maine!! I've only been once 1976 to see Portland light!
Always enjoy your videos! Love seeing Lily. I have a cat with a fluffy tail also! Good on y’all for organizing and having a retreat in Maine. It’s good for local stitchers to have a retreat to attend. Happy stitching!
I meant to say I’m going to be listening for all the info on a main retreat! It sounds like a dream but you can bet I’m going to be praying!🙏 dreams can come true, right??
I love, love, love your flosstubes. They are done as if you are in my kitchen chatting with me. You are both fantastic, such warm friends I've never met.
You ladies are just fantastic. I wish that I would be closer. Ut I live in British Columbia. Just live way to far away. Sounds like yous have bundles of fun with your stitching. Enjoy every minute I watch you ladies❤❤
I live in NH and would love to come to a retreat in April, weather permitting. I will look out for how to register although I don’t get on Instagram much!
Kathy I'm getting my Quaker Halloween kitted up this week! Can't wait to get started!! There's nothing wrong with being bossy LOL 😂 Ya'll make me laugh so hard! Thank you!!❤
I remain jealous that you all got to meet Susan from Sweet Wing Studio at your weekend of StitchCon. She's one of my favorite designers, and I'm glad to hear she's as great in person as her designs are. I would love to come to your retreat, but I doubt it's going to happen next year. I'm hoping I'll be able to hit more retreats when I retire.
Instead of having one month on WIPGO board for cleaning the craft room, I would have one whole WIPGO board just for that. Each month could have something like straighten up DMC, put away threads from bucket o’floss, fully finish 3 items, sort linen, straighten up hoops and QSnaps, organize project bags, organize needles and needleminders, etc. That way it does not seem so overwhelming to organize your craft room.
I loved this stitchy share!!! So much fun! Loved seeing it all and the info you shared! I felt the friendship and love! Love Kathy's nails! Those stars! I love the idea of coming to see you with the get together! Will definitely check this out - would love to see you!
“It didn’t blow my skirt up”. OMG! That’s exactly what I thought about that chart, too. April 19 & 20 are blocked off on my calendar! See you on the 15th.
OH. EM. GEE!!! Yes!!! I’d love to come to Maine!! I have the dates written in my planner for next year so I can plan accordingly!! So excited! (In case you couldn’t tell, 😂🤣)
My sister and I went to stitch con A and met some of the nicest people ever. I know how you feel when you receive a gift or give a gift. It’s so heartfelt. We sat at a table with a young lady from Ohio and 3 ladies from Maine. We made such great friends now. We are each in the process of stitching a piece that we will all start and then pass on to the next person to put their part on and so on. We will all hold off putting the last bit of stitches in till Stitch Con 2024 where we will finish them and then all ring the bell. We have all been texting each other and keeping in constant contact. What a wonderful friendship we have made.
Missy and Kathy I love hearing about your adventures and your wonderful enabling hubbies! I am blessed with a hubby who enables me in my passions… quilting, cross stitching, cooking and gardening. Life is good ladies we need to cherish each moment and you two are a inspiration to that!

Thank you. You are an amazing pair. Keep on stitching
