I’m so glad you enjoyed your time in Blue Earth. We all feel fortunate to have such an amazing crafting community and love sharing it with others. Linda is the one that was a teacher.
You two make my day. Social stimulation is very important as we get older. At 80 and being mostly homebound after a stroke, I will eagerly take your stimulation.
I like everything and that is my problem! So glad that I am not close to a local cross stitch store, or I would be broke! Enjoy your floss tube! Was good to see Jane in your pictures. I have missed seeing her and Julie on Floss tube!
I am so very jealous of your trip. Welcome Stitchery is on my bucket list. I love watching the antics of Shelley and Justine. I wish they had more time to post. I also watched Lisa's new flosstube and it was very impressive.
BOM = Block of Month. If you notice each pattern has the name of the month on it. BOMs are used so often with us quilting. Love Welcome Stitchery. And Blue Earth is a Town out of Normal Rockwell! I was there in May & Justine was so very nice so helpful finding cloth. I love that store. Your trip sounds so nice. I am also in Wyoming.

I don’t know how I missed seeing this floss tube but I’m sure glad I noticed it when I was scrolling through my subscriptions. Maybe it was the picture of the Jolly Green Giant that caught my eye. 😊
Kathy, your purchase amnesia is hilarious! 😂 I had to chuckle over your story of stalking Chris and Jane. I’ve watched them from the beginning and 4 years ago at the first East Hill Farm retreat, I sat down at their table, introduced myself and chatted for awhile. Happy to announce that we have been friends since. They come up to visit me occasionally (I live in Falmouth) and are returning in October. We’ll meet in Freeport, have lunch and maybe do a little shopping, then land at my daughter’s coffee shop on Main Street (SipHouse) for a delicious coffee drink and some stitching. I can’t wait to see them again. Missy, I’m also stitching Hometown Holidays and I wish I had seen Liz’s pieces before I started mine. I’ve just randomly put them on a large piece of mushroom lugana with the plan to have them made into small pillows. BTW, Liz just mentioned she is working on or starting #3. Loved seeing all the haul, wips and finishes. Have a great weekend.
