Hi all we are down on my local beach to try and catch my dog my mate for the last near 16 years a feed of fish she isn't very well and what she has will be the end so she is getting all the care and attention that she deserves. Secondly we are going to make some Australian salmon fish jerky I have never made this before but with the help of some other you tubers it turned out pretty dam good. People say its best not to use to oily fish so that makes Australian salmon good to use I marinated my fish over night its best like that it soaks in better so better for preserving or a few hours will be fine if your in a rush. I dehydrated my fish for 6 hours at 70 degrees celsius and it was very dehydrated at first I thought to much but really it tasted great especially the next day so I am not going to change a thing I kept mine in the fridge in a snap seal bag I don't think it had to go in the fridge because it was so dehydrated and preserved but I put it in there anyway. it lasted me for 3 days it was very moorish and I will most definitely make it again P.S you can use your oven
My Marinade Recipe FOR THE AMOUNT OF FISH I HAD ADJUST FOR THE AMOUNT OF FISH YOU HAVE
1\4 CUP SOY SAUCE
1\8 CUP DARK SOY SAUCE
1 TABLE SPOON HONEY
1 TABLE SPOON SWEET CHILLI SAUCE
1\2 TABLE SPOON GARLIC
My beef jerky was the same but chilli instead of sweet chilli sauce plus 1\2 table spoon crushed ginger that also was very nice and moorish
