Rockfish and Lingcod on a Windy Day in Santa Cruz
Wish you a good day. 👍🐟
Really a useful video for me 👍
Also good video bro 👍
Fish
Very nice! How was the beach launch? Is it pretty rough? Or is it always calm there? I see a lot of rocks too
It's always calm at this cove, which is protected by rocks around it. However, once you get out of the cove, it could be quite rough because it's facing west, which is the predomindant direction for wind and swells in this area. That day we had large west swells that were 4~5 feet tall.
Hey man my true kit 3.3 is on the way, and I am very curious. I dont want to much weight, but I am worried that 6 hp is not enough. What topspeed do you get once the motor was ready for full throttle ? Also I am very curious about the wheels since i saw another video where they did block the movement of the engine and that was also a 3,3 so I am quite puzzled that it worked for you :0). Hope you can give some feedback
My motor can move without any problem and the wheels don't get into the way (see 1:05). I haven't used the boat for a while, but I think with a 6hp 4 stroke engine you will get 10~12mph max. If you want faster try to get a 2 stroke engine, which is ligter so you can get more hp for the same weight.
Great, thx i will order the railblaza then
Appreciate the realistic effort it takes to get this in the bag. I typically suck all the air out of mine prior to folding it. Thanks
"Punctures less than 1/8" in size can be repaired simply without a patch. Deflate your boat, then clean and dry the area to be repaired. Apply a small drop of glue to cover the puncture and let dry for 12 hours. If you need to get on the water sooner, let dry for 30 minutes and then inflate the boat, inflating the compartment with the repair only 3/4 full. This repair might not be permanent so add a drop again at a later date to make it permanent." Did you just drop the glue to fix this? Which glue is best to fix such small size? Thank you
Hi was just wondering if you have the measurements for this ? Thanks
I didn't make any measurements. I just found a rope that was long enough, and then kept adjusting the knots until I get the correct length to all the four hooks.
good video
Great video where did you get the bag from and the cost of it thanks
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S9W7KHK/ (size A). I paid $95 but now the price is increased to $125.
Boat to 330 I would like to know where you got the bag from and how much video great
Здравствуйте, переднюю часть не рвёт при нагрузки? Сколько стоит и где можно купить?
Beautiful boat... Suzuki 6hp look and work very good with the boat for river..🌝🌝
Great video! A lot better than my underwater gopro videos-check them out!
Which sized bag did you get? Size A? Thanks
Yes, size A
Thanks for posting--two questions if I may. What is the SLOWEST speed you can run? Second, did you compare this Suzuki with any other 6 before purchase--I mean on paper? The Tohatsu, the Yamaha, etc./all? thank you
I didn't measure but it was pretty slow in idle. Maybe 2 miles per hour if I have to guess. I picked Suzuki because it is the lightest in weight in the 6hp class. Tohatsu (same as Mercury) is slightly heavier and Yamaha is quite a bit heavier and more expensive.
@@fishandrib8672 Thanks for that--did the engine lock in place if you want it to not turn--and not have to stay back there with it while it is running? Thank you again, and thanks for posting
whats the depth here
About 60 ~ 80ft
how much it costs only the boat.
I bought it here and had it shipped to the USA truekit.net/products/true-kit-discovery?variant=32903035654
Any more updates? how did it go in the water?
The bridle worked out pretty good. See this video: ua-cam.com/video/9_eMXTymSYI/v-deo.html
Hi, curious to know how have you found the boat having owned it for awhile now? I am trying to decide between the Discovery and the Navigator.
I have used the boat only a few times but I've been pretty happy with it. The Discovery is a bit more spacious (I think) and easier to get in from the water.
Thanks, I've been catching the red rock, and the claws are so hard. I'm looking for dungeness, but all I get is rock crabs-------lot's of them!
Like the shell cracker!
You can get it from Amazon. It's called "Shell Shucker" www.amazon.com/ShellShucker-Cracker-Deshelling-Professional-Aluminum/dp/B07B2STN5P
What are the steps to make it? We’re did you get the clips? Thanks
You can buy 4 stainless carabiners from online or HomeDepot. Then inflate the boat, thread the lines inside the hose and measure how much line you need. You don't want any slacks in the lines, or else it would be difficult to pull the boat around.
Hi there nice video. What type of air pump automatic are you using? Thanks

I think I'm going for the 330....It'll fit fully inflated inside my 7'X12" cargo trailer with ramp rear door...Am pretty sure I can pack all camping gear around it and soft bags inside boat when travelling.....My goal is to camp out on as many Florida beaches as I can, plus the keys.....Planning on hitting the road in 2 months or so....Will make some vids (haven't shot any vids for a couple years at least)....My camera equipment is gettin' dusty.... ;o)
Have you ordered it yet? it might take a while to arrive in the US via DHL. Good luck!
我在旧金山湾区,可以问一下朋友,你们的橡皮船好用吗,危险吗,因为我想买一个,如果能回复非常的感谢我的微信petercheng898
Nice. I just ordered the 4.0 m. One thing I have learned there is never enough space in a small boat...
2 months??
Yes. The boat was new and didn't have bottom paint. Even in November/December, there had been a lot of growth under the boat.
Very nice. Can you see the footage real-time or on the boat? Or do you have to wait to retrieve the camera and take out the memory chip to view the footage? Keep up the videos. I love the underwater footage!
When I took these videos, I was only dropping a go-pro so I couldn't see the live feed. I have added a fishing cam www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0899N7YHH/ to get a live feed, but I haven't been able to use it yet because the water has been pretty murky.
how much for that bro ?
How is it holding up ?
I love boat
Do you need to register your inflatable boat to be on the sea and boater card also? I have an inflatable boat but dont know if it’s legal, thank you!
Registered
Cool video!
I cant get a reliable indicator of duty fees on these...any ideas?
I wasn't charged any duty fees by US customs.
@@fishandrib8672 interesting...I may just take the chance. I cant get a definite.
My Discovery 330 arrives this week in Florida, USA! Ordered with the wheels and going to put a Suzuki 15 on it. Any first impressions?
The DF6 is good enough for me. My main problem is I should go out more often!
We are truly enjoying our 330. I would suggest getting the front bow four point harness (I made mine). It makes all the difference pulling solo...
Nice! We are enjoying our 330 as well...are your numbers painted on?
Yes, I used sharpies and stencils.
😉👍
What are the advantages of using a deba knife? I know that a lot of people will use fillet knives because they are flexible
Deba knives are much sharper, especially the high carbon ones (not stainless). Their disadvantage is they rust and you need to spend a lot of time sharpening them. That can be a chore if you just filet once a week like me.
The boat looks nice. Did you import it from New Zealand? Awesome!
Yes I did
😉👍
Still have boat? If so how had it held up?
I sold it already. It was a great boat for its size and I miss it. I just needed something bigger.
Are those legal size fish ?
There are no size limit for these fish in California.
Holy shit ! Are you a freeeekin game warden on here. Give these guys a break, let them fish
Isn't Halibut 22 inches minimum? I'm no warden but I wanna catch fish too if you let them grow.
@@mauropotiguar those aren't halibut, champ.
@@mauropotiguar these are sand dabs. If you wan to catch fish, you should start by learning to identify the species.
Take your time and do it right. Great video.
Was chosing between the 330 or the 4 but went with the 330 for the lighter weight. Hope I made the right decision ! Looks great
Welcome to the club! I think that's a wise choice. For me the 330 is heavy enough. Pulling the 330 with the tiny 6ph motor up the ramp was already a big workout for me. I don't think I can handle the 400 by myself.
@@axscdvfb yes 80% of the time it will be just me and other days with my wife or a friend so 330 is plenty
What trolling motor and battery do you use for your R200? And comment? Thanks.

It's about a mile offshore near Capitola.
