This is the best way of cooking lingcod. With other cooking methods, lingcod meat can become dry and chewy. Deep-frying with a batter can lock in the moisture in the flesh, making it juicy and tender. This can be pretty healthy -- if you peel the batter off, there isn't much oil left.
