Que tipo de pinsas usastes para sacar la parte???
Thanks for posting this video. My wife has a 2007 Civic with a 1.8l and I suspect the AC clutch is dead. I checked the relay and replaced it with a new one just in case, along with the fuse but it still will not engage the clutch. I did also check the positive wire going to the clutch and it is getting power so my next course of action is going to be replacing the AC clutch. This will be much easier thanks to your video. We do live in Canada where the winters are harsh and thanks to the amount of salt on the roads, a lot of fasteners on a vehicle can get pretty rusted and or corroded so I'm hoping the clutch is not rusted to bad. Thanks again for the great video! Cheers!
This Guy Knows What He's Doing !
The mount seems good but i don't see how its usable. You cant pick up that engine and place it in the bed as it will hit the side of the bed. you cant go shorter on the arm for more capacity because it wont clear the tailgate. you'd have to add a winch to make this useful.
Very usable and works amazing! See my other video
I’ve been trying to get the second snap ring for hours I have the proper tools it’s just to deep in there 😢
Any luck getting the second snap ring?
Nice van! I just bought an 87 that had been sitting for 5 years. Started her up and she’s my daily driver now
Work on your filming, editing skills, speaking skills and camera angles and then maybe you can release a UA-cam video that’s watchable
@@victorherrera6714 🫡 yes sir!! I’m on it.. 🤣
Anyone else have issues with the polish leaving white spots and or watermark looking residue
💪🏽
Great Content Mr Garage! This video helped me a lot
Which size snap ring pliers are required for this job?
My 2016 truck was repainted three years ago and the paint is in great shape with no swirls but just a couple of moderate scratches and no dents (knock wood). I spent four hours washing and claying, and am breaking this into a 2-3 day project. If I use compound to buff out those scratches, do I need to compound the entire vehicle before polishing and waxing? My challenge is the small time windows provided by Colorado's hot summer weather (with unforecasted light rain bursts in the afternoon), and the fact that my truck doesn't fit in my garage. Would greatly appreciate your advice!

Seems like Turtle wax is still better. Anyway a good idea to compare. Thanks for this sharing to everyone 👍❤️
Nice work. A bit overkill using .250 wall. That's enough for a gooseneck hitch in a 1 ton, and probably double the thickness of your trucks frame itself. Also thicker than any engine hoist frame. But i guess if you have it laying around why not.
True but better overkill than it bending or breaking under a load 👍
Bro.... why you make it look so easy? Natural talent. Thanks for the video. I have to fix a 08 Civic Coupe AC Clutch soon.
How’d it go?
Thanks for following up. Checked the relay. It was good. Checked the fuse still good. Checked freon still good. I bumped the AC clutch and it engaged. AC been working great since. Car was sitting since 2018 so I think I'm lucky. Thanks for the follow up.
Doing this today
👍 good luck you got this
How do you get to the wire Le in the back of the magnet? lol the o my part I needed to see and it was skipped
How are these holding up? Are they yellowing already?
Still look brand new, and I don’t even keep this one in the garage lol
@@quickspoolgarage what about the projection? Good? My oem are ugly . I gotta buy some asap
@@quickspoolgaragecan u send link to led headlight bulb? The one u have doesn’t work anymore
Amazing work, it looks great man. How much do you think that weighs? Looks real minimalistic, something I'm looking for.
Thanks!! As far as weight I’d guess around 100-120 lbs
Lifting the generator is EXACTLY why i searched the crane video. I have a 250 pound Duromax. Thanks
i had the top left compressor bolt seize in the block, impact wouldnt budge it lol.... there are now 3 compressor bolts
appreciate the detailed video on this job. im curious if the aftermarket magnetic coil help up long term?
I currently have 44k miles on this coil.
maybe stupid question... what type of pry bar? I've got clutch queued up here for my 2007 si, which I think is the issue. I haven't tried the jumper as part of the initial diagnostics, but I did force the engage the clutch with a stick and got sweet sweet cool air - so I know the compressor is good. The 7.5amp fuse keeps blowing. I think the clutch is just all old and gummed up or the coil went.
Great save! Now to everyone the 03/04 Mach 1 is very special. Scott Hoag was the program manager for the 01 bullit and 03/04 Mach 1. As pulled from the book Building the 2001 Bullit and 2003/04 Mach 1 Mustangs. The Mach 1 shares the same heads, valves , and cams as the 03 cobra. The engine was built in the Romeo plant, it used a 8 bolt forged crankshaft only on the manual transmission models. Automatics have the 6 bolt cast crank. The cams for Mach 1s and 03/04 cobras used a 5.4 Navigator Cams for more low end torque. Mach 1s have an aluminum block from the previous generation cobra. Mach 1 came with 3.55 gears , GTs with 3.27 gears. Automatic Mach 1s rev limit at 5800 and manuals redline at 6800, the manual transmission on the mach 1 and cobra needed a forged crankshaft because of the increased RPM. Now when you say Cobra Jet Engine, there is no such thing. I'm not knocking but this is how it goes. That is an emblem people added. Pulled from the book, Scott Hoag's team considered adding the emblem to the shaker for the heritage of the original Mach 1 428 cobra jet. "The 03/04 Mach 1 engine is a unique engine that in its entirely did not exist on any other car. To me it's Cobra Jet-ish". They needed to get an agreement from SVT to use the Cobra name, SVT owned the cobra brand. SVT denied it because they didn't want people to get confused about Cobra likeness being on the Mach 1. "if you look at the heritage and the meaning of Cobra jet which had nothing to do with the cobra snake but rather a powertrain performance reference only back to a 1968 drag racing car. I think it would have been very Jermaine and a great heritage reference to build upon however it was the wrong time wrong place and wrong people for the use of Cobra jet" that's all I got. Thanks for reading. Big Mach 1 enthusiast here.
Maguires for the win....
Yea buddy!
Excellent video..
Would you say the polish is needed or nah
I got one the other day. Probably won't use it much but for the $109 I paid for it, it definitely is worth the price vs blowing out a disc in my spine and being bedridden for a month
What’s the exhaust setup?
Does there need to be Freon/pressure in the system for the clutch magnet to engage? I also got a squeaking sound after putting a new clutch pully on. Any tips?? (2008 Honda Civic 1.8L)
Gotta love chipmunk music.
👌
What about the weather strip? Does that not affect the seal?
No if it’s only 1/8 of an inch. Anything more it will have wind noise.
Can this be done by hand ?
Looks great
Great test! I've been looking for this kind of comparison because my local options are limited for polishing compounds.
Thanks for watching
Mustang. -Corvette owner
Nice job!
Thank you
What if it's just the head of the compressor not grabbing think that could be a problem
Possibly, check the Freon level first
I need a replace the idle bearing on mine and this video helps a lot I don't need to replace the magnetic clutch or anything just the bearing but I appreciate the video nonetheless
Just subscribed. Lots of useful stuff here. Maybe it’ll help motivate me to work on ‘67 Cougar.
Nice!! I’m about to start a series on my 67 Mustang Fastback.
Think the turtle wax would’ve looked better if their rubbing compound was used beforehand but for $7 it’s still a good deal
the whole damn car is moving when you wipe it down. Strong mf lmao
🤣🤣
did you wax after?
Nice info , Regarding, compound and polishing, Your sidekick, Reminds me of my Suzuki Vitara , Same as sidekick.
After doing this...Does it have to cure first for a couple of days or so? Or can you wash the car tight after?
Thank you so much. Excellent video. 🙏
These products are all totally different. The turtle wax is a traditional abrasive polish designed to remove light defects. The meguiars also contains abrasives, but has fillers as well to hide scratches, and the nu finish is basically a synthetic wax/sealant. Like comparing an apple, orange, and banana and saying which is the best fruit?
Not really
@@quickspoolgarage What do you mean not really? Are you disagreeing with my take on the products? Because a tiny amount of research, along with a thorough reading of the labels will tell you that I've described them correctly. I'm not saying your comparison was worthless, seeing the results could help some people. I do appreciate your effort.
Thanks bud
RPM?
1600 is what I used if I’m not mistaken

Can you update the link for the high/low beam bulbs. I’m having the same issue you had and need to buy an adaptor.
I will do it this evening. 👍
