One of the best offroad videos I’ve seen. Very helpful point of view on the videos. Gives viewers exactly what they would see as if on the trail. Nice work!
@74weld - I have a 392 on 37s with a 3” AEV lift. Been eyeing portals for years. Question - what steering upgrade (if any) are you running on your stingray 392 to push those 40s?

Looking forward to the upgraded steering rack for the 4Runner/FJCruiser. I’ve already replaced my once.
@@redfred9913 it’s coming…we are making a few design changes after assembling and testing the first prototype.
After watching your video I’m going to make sure I have my Colby valves with me. The self tappers are a great idea if nothing else works.
I have some Colby emergency valve stems just in case..
@@greghull3189 I normally have them. Needless to say I won’t make that mistake again. I got another full GlueTread kit for the Bronco
Ive had issues with broken valve stems in the past, I now keep a pair of emergency valve stem replacements with me.
that RR is slickkkk.
I run the same set of methods that are on the Bronco on my JT. The valve stem placement on those wheels is not great, so ended up getting shorties to run vs standard length stems.... and carry Colbys just in case!
what kind of ground clearance do you get on the Ranger Raptor with the portals compared to stock? And are you still running stock wheels and tires? Ran most of those trails in my 2015 Jeep JK but kinda doubt the stock Ranger Raptor could get through any of them, maybe Gold Mountain.
@@skbid1 I don’t know because I’ve never put a tape measure on it…but portals give it a 3.9” lift. I’m also running a 37x12.5 tire on a method forged 17x8 +45 wheel
Its a big orgy fest for dudes lmao 🤣

Great build, was there a feeling to regear to have the 37's on & have you considered @overlanderwoodworks for a custom drawer system that has pull out tables & great for refrigerator? A wolfbox dash cam would solve the visibility. Where can we follow this Landcruiser's build?
Didn’t letech already do it?
@@sebastianfernandez2865 they showed some spy photos. No word on when or how much they are charging, but their stuff is usually cast iron while ours is billet aluminum. I’m sure their product will be fine. Ours will just be better. Still the only race tested portal ever produced.
Does it rub?
This is awesome. What I have in mind is to install a wide body kit that I will be getting from TTN Hypersport in Thailand. What would you recommend on the off-set on 17" or should I just use spacers ?
We recommend either the factory wheels which are +55 or our forged +45 bead grip wheels we produce with Method
Why not just get the ZR2 Bison if you want to go this route? The ranger raptor is a “motocross” truck and already designed pefectly.
@@johnheueisenIII I like the bison and I’m a big fan of AEV stuff. I just think the motor in this is a whole lot better and the live valve suspension has more potential. Overall I think the Ranger Raptor is also a better platform for us to develop for. It was as much a business decision as it was a personal one

For 35k I think you’ve hit a home run. I’d stop buying guns for a while to save up!
Not an ineos owner, but interested in possibly buying one. The steering/front geometry has been flagged by several people online, especially with 1-3” lift. Perhaps a corrected front housing with improved knuckles would be a more popular option? Especially if you could keep it around 10k?
Nice video. Share some cost estimates if you have.
Why do you need to portals to go camping and drive on a dirt road? Comms….
So clean!
do you have axels for isuzu at35
So INEOS couldn't figure all this out?
You guys thought about making portals for quad motor Rivians? Their Achilles' heel is lack of low end torque for crawling (due to the motors insufficient starting/stall torque). Portals/reduction could remedy this, even if not a large market a Rivian R1S with four motors and four portals would be a cool demo vehicle. Also while range would take a hit, portals could enable flat towing which currently isn’t possible with Rivians.
Thank you for doing the research (knowledgeably) , and taking the time to make this informative video. Your explanation of the pertinent issues with the Grenadier should make perfect sense to anyone who actually pays attention, and is really helpful to me. Knowing that your package should take care of all of the most onerous issues currently plaguing the vehicle, gives me confidence to go ahead and buy one next year. I had been waiting particularly for someone to offer portal-axles, but the fact that you are also addressing the other issues is a huge bonus.
Hey Quinn. I really don't want to say much on a public forum please give me your email address. I do have a 2021 Bronco and I installed 74 weld Portals. I must say it is such an amazing product and definitely is a game changer. Jeffe (Jeff Hutcher) from Matt's off-road convinced me to go with your portals. But.......I really want to contact you in private.
TRD Offroads should come standard with portals.
I want livevalve on my fox 3.0 internal bypasses on my jeep gladiator. Its fine to adjust manually, but it would be cool if I could hook them up.
@@TJ-po9ol it’s in the works…Fox will likely be rolling out stand alone live valve for a few platforms next year
Does putting these on void the Ford warranty?
@@islandpapa1024 that’s a tricky question. For now that is really left up to the dealer. We can’t speak for Ford and are not willing to make claims we don’t void it. It comes down to how the dealer writes it up. We are working on a permanent fix for this in 2025…it’s called Ford Performance catalogue. Working with Ford and Mopar on getting into their parts catalogues.
How well would the portals on a 4runner perform in snowy conditions? Light fluffy snow (not heavy wet snow) and snow covered mountain roads that may or may not be plowed?
@@MaryGingerWhite as good or better than you can imagine. When you lift up the parts that typically act as a plow, you travel further…simple as that
