When Everything Goes Wrong... Part 1

This is a great example of the Chloric K9 influencing the exercise and the trainer. Why did everything go wrong? The chloric K9 is my favorite K9 to work with. They drive me crazy at the same time. It's a love hate relationship. A few points why this exercise didn’t go as planned. The trainer forced himself to work when he should have taken a break. The trainer is chloric himself. So, let's get...

Quickly Train Your Dog To Get Up & Down
Very logical, straigt forward. Great session.
The genuine joy at the end is contagious!
Very well done.. Real life traing, not overly staged. Thanks
Is there any reason why you don’t use “wings” for the jump or place it perpendicular to a wall to decrease the chance the dog will run around it? It seems a hallway might be good. Guidelines for when it’s ok to teach this? Ie) up to X inches before a year. Height from 1 yr - 2 yr. Height after 2yrs ie) growth plates closed.
Gonna make my hound look for the phone my parents hide, thanks
What does MWD stand for please?
I have my first mal (not first dog). He’s only 8 months & he’s the first I am training more than “pet” obedience. Regarding the speed & accuracy- am I correct that it comes with training? He has learned more commands than my previous dogs, but he does not have nearly the speed & precision of the dogs in your video. I have assumed it’s because I am still learning these techniques myself. Ie) these dogs are capable of precision & speed but we need to teach them how to direct it. Hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance. Really enjoying what I am watching. Thank-you!
Love this video! I think this topic needs to be discussed more. I assume this is the a minimum you recommend. Seems a couple reps of this would be better.
Like the idea of 101, 102, 103 videos.
Hi. First time viewing one of your videos. I stopped & asked what “chloric” meant literally the second before you put the definition on the screen. Lol Deleted that comment. Appreciate the game & also sharing part 1. I think it helps us to learn & not be discouraged when we novices make mistakes. Ie) it should be expected. Will be watching part 1 & then the video with the 4 “personalities”. Have my first mal. Adopted from shelter when he was 9 weeks. Have had and pet trained other larger dogs - mostly working dog crosses. He is 9 months. Doing well. Want to do the best for him & increase my abilities. I was originally going to go quickly into scent work. Instead have been focusing more on obedience & learning how to play “tug” like French ring trainers. Figured it’s safer. Not sure if I will do bite work on people at this point. I have a question - I heard from one trainer that with obedience all the reward is with the trainer. Scent work reward is away from handler & consequently it may decrease the obedience. Your thoughts? Thank-you for sharing the videos.
Thank you!
Lol, best belly laugh I've had all day. Anyhow, thanks for the box video.
very well done. I appreciated the detail of adjusting the trainiing to the ability and tempermant of the animal
Best video so far 😂
Thanks!
lol this is so cute (im first pls pin)
What's the best healthy dog dental treats? Can you make a video for maybe send me a website that I could see what's the best dental dog treats 4? What is the dental dog tree to feed your goat?
Intro😂😂😂
Why is it a goal for them to be off leash? I get it it’s cool and makes you look like a good trainer and the dog feels freer. However, it’s irresponsible in reality for the lay person. So many things can happen that can be dangerous to the dog and others. The dog can run off, get lost, get hit by a car, run after another dog and fight, run up to a person and bite them, ect. How can you ignore these real possibilities? If it’s a military dog I get it. But not the average family dog.
Very cool. It’s awesome to see children, watching dog training, videos and commenting. Way to go kid.
Lesson herein - be it human or animal, always get an expert opinion… the generalist is just that, like a primary care physician, y’all wouldn’t trust them to treat your diabetes or cancer diagnosis, no, you’d want to avail yourself of the experts for that condition (note/disclaimer: this obviously doesn’t apply to MAGA trumpies, who as we’ve seen during the Covid pandemic, many times chose to disregard the science and medical experts, oftentimes paying w/ their life and the financial well-being of their families, just b/c they were too ignorant to release that they didn’t understand how to separate fact from fiction)
Love this!
great video thanks
Hay alguien que me sepa explicar en qué consiste la eutanasia del perro? Procedimiento y tiempo empleado. Gracias.

u better not that thing will break ur dog neck...
Hey Caio- I met a trainer from Germany while traveling through the State of New Mexico and it was her teaching that turned me onto this amazing tool about 10 years ago. So much can be accomplished with the head halter! Please let us know how it's going. Thank you for being apart of the channel.
@@G_S_T Thanks a lot, look like you have a lot of experience in dog trainning.
@@K9s4America Just a quick update: The head halter is a really good game changer, but with time you start thinking a little bit more about the situation and thinks: "Its way more cool if my dog can walk by my side without the head halter. So the heel command is the better option. Not excluding the head halter but its a game changer for a trasition between the heel command
love it thank you
Hey Love- Very rad to know that you LOVE it!!! Thank you for watching!
Yes love your video's thank you for making tham
I am trying to figure out what that orange tube tug is made of?
Hello Ballyhoo- Keep watching as we're going to show you very soon. This toy is truly indestructible. Haven't met a K9 yet that can beat it!!! Thank you for being apart of the channel.
Could you sometime teach the Stand? I seem to have the most trouble with this one. I like to mix my languages, with some commands in one foreign language and some in others. I also use an unusual release word so they don't accidentally release in a competitive setting or with a word a casual acquaintance might use in conversation. Thank you for your videos!
Hello Balluhoo- Thank you for the request. We just filmed the episode for you and the audience. The "Stand/up" command will be posted in the next week or two. Thank you for interacting with us as this channel is here for you and the audience.
She totally knows the word "toy", haha.
I like to pull my long line out of the street, in case it could somehow get caught up in the car's wheels or something. (Just paranoid me trying to be safe.)
Hey Ballyhoo- You couldn't be more correct. I definitely should have addressed that. Safety first. Thank you for the spot on comment. This is what the channel is for. We want a very active audience as we never stop learning. Thank you.
Maybe that one time she hesitated on down you were slightly more blocking her straight way down with your shoulder? Good video, though! Thanks.
💔🙁☹️🥺😢😭❤️🇺🇸
I literally learned nothing, this dog already has a good recall. Please teach how to train a recall with a dog that has ZERO!
Hi Jay, while the dogs demonstrating this technique have in fact already learned the recall command, the food reward method, and the techniques demonstrated here are the exact same ones we use with new puppies and rescues. We will be putting out a video demonstrating these techniques with a new puppy as soon as possible, but as you can imagine we don’t always have new puppies available to us. Thanks for watching and stay tuned as we are working non-stop to get more good information out to the audience.
Amazing channel that needs more exposure.
Thank you very much for the awesome comment. We look forward to the challenge of bringing you and the audience quality information that you can apply to your K9s. Thank you for watching.
What an amazing experience and your video is bringing me back to an extraordinary time in my life as well - happy weekend ahead and hoping to be alive in the next eclipse in PUERTO VALLARTA
Hey Medavog- Glad we could bring you that experience. Thank you for sharing your comment with us and the channel. I hope your weekend was a good one and I'm looking forward to hearing from you after the next eclipse. Cheers-
That was awesome
Thank you Brian. It was my producer's idea. Every once in a while a producer has a good idea :)

WOW! That's fantastic to hear. Please keep watching. The power of the DOG can heal us all! Thank you.
정말 감동적이다.
Thank you very much. Ms. Tiny is simply fantastic and always brings a smile to my face. Hopefully Ms. Tiny can now bring that to you the audience, Thank you for watching.
I liked this vid too :)
Thank you Matt- Very much appreciate that kind comment.
Nice video. I'm trying to figure out if my 18 month old Malinois is Vito or Michael Corleone. He gets excited when it's time to eat or go out, but it's very calm and relaxed 90% of the time. No apparent prey drive, but is food driven. Because his calmness it's been easy to train. Walks off leash perfectly. Doesn't care about other dogs. Doesn't bark randomly- barely at all. Can stay in one place on command pretty much forever. The problem is he seems too calm. Not a care in the world other than the aforementioned outside and meal times.
Good morning Mr. Nobody. From the description of your comment it sounds like your malinois puppy is Vito Corleone. What are some of his favorite toys? Does he like to play the tug-a-war game?
105 lb Malinois??? Hmmm🧐
I don’t like my dogs to be ahead of me and walking me.
Tea tree oil is good for ears
Ms. Tiny says "Rank rue" for the tip.
