The most NORTHERN and ISOLATED town in the Yukon, Old Crow Yukon

This a very cool place in the Yukon, only accessible by boat or plane. Located in the traditional territory of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, it has the world famous Porcupine Caribou herd that migrate in the area. The old St Luke's Anglican church was built in 1959 and the Memorial church was built in 1926. The beautiful Porcupine River passes through this cozy town, and nearby, there's the...

The BEAUTIFUL and HISTORIC Fort William H. Seward, Haines Alaska

This may not be a Yukon historic site, but is still a important site of the north. Fort Seward, also known as Chilkoot Barracks was completed in 1904 and it was the only military base in Alaska until 1940. The first building was the barracks, then the hospital, the First Nations building then finally the old foundation of the burnt up barracks. For more content like this, subscribe!!

Actually PRIVATE property... was abandoned by previous (original) owners family and locals took it upon themselves to 'claim' anything worth stealing, and leaving the house open to the elements and wildlife to destroy. (hence the torn out door frame to the bathroom. someone wanted the shower enclosure) Three wood stoves were taken and the chimney pipes were left open for the snow and rain to destroy the structure...
