  • This boat was built in 1908 as the Evelyn and later on changed its name to the Norcom. It was left where it is now, Shipyard island, after many years of service and the parts were actually taken out and used in the SS Keno (Currently restored and maintained by Parks Canada in Dawson City). This boat is a friendly reminder of the Yukon's past and when these massive boats piled the Yukon river systems. Another great video produced by Taiga. I love this video of a bygone era when Paddlewheelers navigated the rivers of the beautiful Yukon Territory. What a rich history The Yukon Territory has, and how lucky you are to live there, Taiga. Thank-you for making these wonderful videos and sharing them. Look forward to visiting The Yukon, and you soon.

Here's the coordinates according to google maps 61°35'28.9"N 134°53'40.8"W. It's on Shipyard Island near where the Yukon River and the Teslin River meet. Hopefully that will help you out!!
