To be honest I feel g5 would have less hate if the story was better and had more sense to it along with fixing some of the 2D design. While initially some of the idea is interesting and as others mentioned could be considered another timeline. I feel that route would work better as a “what if,” another thing we could think of is after a course of time let’s say twilight could have gone rogue with power or found some magical artifact that corrupted her thus leading to so much disharmony. I don’t know I’m just spitballing here but there is so much that could have been done for story wise.

I can only imagine the pain that twighlight went through after slowly watching her friends die in front of her one by one

Im just oing to guess what happened with Discord Ok so, of course, as they got older, everyone else were closer to death. Since Discord is immortal, hes forced to watch as everyone around him die. Of course with fluttershy being Discords first ever friend, her death would impact him the most since she was the first one to offer him kindness and friendship. Im not sure what happened to Discord because hes not there in G5, but if Spike is in G5, then Discord has to be out there somewhere.. right? Thanks for listening to me yap lol
