I wouldn't mind seeing new and old characters all together, Luster Dawn is a cool character but I must admit to be curious about Alicorn's origins or even about the Draconequus, so a serie focusing through specials episodes on the most influent figures in Equestria can be awessome.

Honestly, I feel that this Hasbro should take a healthy break from ponies, until they come up with a better idea on what they want to do with them and instead focus primarily on dragons for a change. I would love to see dragon lord Ember and smolder again, as main characters along with Spike, who has grown from a whelp into a young drake and to see him and Ember together, as a close mated couple. 🐉
g6 has a plot similar to a plot that tell your tale, g2 or g3 would have, we will simply see ponies going to a camp to get cutie marks. literally this makes me think that the hate towards g5 is stupid, because some have a toxic obsession with g4. also g5 is about to improve because we would see the culture of the alicorns and with this possibly have a cameo of celestia and luna, the seaponies and breezies increased the possibilities of seeing the hippogriffs and changelings in g5. we could have even seen spike and discord again.
The one thing that reallly burned me about G5 besides the destruction of all of G4 story and world ofc, was that they got rid of all the different creatures that attended twilights school and like a the different races of creatures all together (like wth is that about!!?) and then its not until way later they reintroduce that the dragons are still alive and add like a snow leopard for some reason xD it just kills me inside that they made g5 so baby and got rid of everything that made G4 really special! Like if they had just made G5 with no connections to G4 and just made it its own universe and story and characters without dragging G4 through the mud Id be way less bent out of shape about the Movie/show, I still probably still wouldnt watch it just becuase of how baby coded and boring it is (like i think the only best pt of G5 that caught my attention is when; Misty finilly stands up to Opal-line and breaks away from her abusive hold on her) and thats pretty much it.
I honestly don't care if G6 happens or not. If it does, I hope it's a proper sequel to G4 where the new generation of heroes rise up and save Equestria several times.
Don't forget all the plot holes in G5! This generation could have worked as a standalone. But by linking it to G4, there are so many unanswered questions we are left with that leave us confused. How does the day and night cycle work? The weather cycle? How do cutie marks even exist without magic? And dont get me started on Sparky and his Do Anything Button magic. I could go on. Just watch Star Strike's episode reviews! The G4 team put so much research into the world building for Equestria. G5... not so much.

Subnautica did well, the sequel, Below Zero didn’t quite meet expectations, so I heard UW intends on essentially scrubbing BZ from the official timeline, and replacing it with an actual sequel. I wonder if a similar thing is going on here. G4 was lightning in a bottle, G5 tried to capitalize on that, fell rather short, so maybe Hasbro is making G6 to try to scrub G5 from the official timeline and replace it with G6 as the official sequel.
I would actually like to see the G5 mane six comeback, but maybe made more fleshed out. I love the movie and both animated series, but it all seemed way too rushed. We barely got to see any true back story or character development in my opinion, the only exception being Misty Brightdawn. Just saying, they could've and still do better with those characters.
I just realized, why not just use flurry heart as the main character therefore, we'd still get the same characters we love but older random and new character just let flurry heart be a really late at getting her cutie mark. Making it where pony of her country do not believe she has the power of being the next in line because she doesn't have a mark and start of from there..... It would be interesting if she was a bit rebellious because her parents are to busy to give her attention but to over protective to let her go anywhere
I don't know what you might expect for the new generation for My Little Pony, but as much as I want to see this G6 and possibly I do want to see all the returning characters to be in this new generation I would much prefer to see the continuation of G5 and as well as G4. I know there are some issues with G5 and I know that some people didn't like how G4 ended, but I believe G5 deserves so much love and appreciation it deserves and I was okay with this version of the ending of G4 (despite the whole Discord twist and turning the Legion of Doom into stone), I do want to see both generations to come back and continue their stories a little bit longer not to mention continuing there are so many unanswered questions and so many more lore we never got a chance to see, and not to mention to see the Equestria girls get its proper ending and continuous story a little bit longer it wasn't right for Hasbro to cancel this franchise within G4. But I hope one day that's both G4 and G5 will come back in the near future and continue on a little bit longer but I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future holds for My Little Pony when G6 comes out.
You forgot “Pony Life”, and that it was shown back in 2020, a year after “Friendship is Magic” ended, and it was a series of 5-minute shorts, and that makes it G4.5 with the same characters from “Friendship is Magic” in it. It ran for 2 seasons until 2021, and it was made by Boulder Media (not DHX Media) and eOne (which is now Hasbro Entertainment).
Make Your Mark was the G5 lineup with the least amount of development. Tell Your Tale managed to tell some good stories and good moral messages in only 5 minutes. Opaline is a lot less intimidating than G4 villains like Chrysalis. I will say that the G5 comics do a great job of capturing some of the G4 elements like how lonely Izzy was and creativity was her only friend before she met Sunny. I think the character we got the most connections with was Misty and Posey. What I think made G5 weak was connecting it with G4, but not providing the lore or explanations as to what happened to the changelings and other creatures. I really want to see a bicorn in G6. It would also be nice is smaller character such as Sassy Saddles and Lightning Dust became major characters with more importance.
Ideas!!! There would be a new main six. These are the descendants of the original main six. Each one of those six get a prophecy or something about how there’s a big evil thing happening. They have to find each other and locate the elements of harmony that were scattered across equestria, meeting new pony races that were lost for generations after Twilights fall. Once they find the elements and restore them (maybe by retuning them to the tree of harmony) they see a hologram of Twilight and the mane six (like in g5) and Twi and her friends explain the fall and what happened and how they now bear the elements. That could be a movie, then it’s shifts to a slice of life tv show with these characters with occasional adventures. Already had an idea for one of them. Pastel splash- a lifeguard who works as a painter in her free time.

The key is imagination! They can even some inspirations from previous generations just like G4 did with G1 like you can absolutely take some inspirations aswell while also being creative

I really hope it's about the Mane 6's children. As amazing as the prequels about alicorns and other creatures is, that sounds like something the comics will cover. This part is probably just me but I hope if they have time, we'll get more out of "MLP Equestria Girls," including a proper ending.
I don't know if I'm waiting for G5 to come back even though it's finished and closed, or if I have to get used to the new animation of G6, that Hasbro is now planning something new. In which G6 in the new series, Sunny and her friends and the 3D characters would come back again in a new adventure, so I wanted the land of the Alicorns of Skyros and the return of Sunny's mother that she was alive somewhere lost and went to find a way to return magic back to Equestria. I really liked the G5 series so much and I miss it.

I’d personally like to see a reboot with a mix of main characters from generations across the board. Twilight Sparkle still being the main protagonist of course Yes this can be done properly with familiar faces without being repetitive. Transformers have done this successfully many times within each iteration or reboot since the iconic G1 series with Optimus Prime still being the leader of the Autobots and Megatron still being the leader of the Decepticons

Would be nice to advance the story on what we saw at the end of G4 as princess Twilight Sparkle's pupil, Luster Dawn. Although I am already faithful to G4. I don't know if I can handle another one.
I’d much more prefer a G4 and a half time period wise, futuristic horses was so weird and handled badly, MORE THEN THAT, going even further in the past, maybe about celestia and Luna would be even cooler.
I don't know after what happened with G5 do we really need a G6? I think the best thing Hasbro can do is make a sequel to FIM staring Twilight's student Luster Dawn and her own group of friends that will make up the new Mane 6 and become the new heroes of Equestria.
They can make an improvement for G6 by making it more magical instead of more technological by removing the cellphones and social media and make it more like genshin impact style
They leaned on G4 as a crutch for too long with little to no progress, plus, Short seasons. The characters were great, but the stories weren't that good. G4 had so much left to tell. I wanted an applejack episode dealing with her feelings of inadequacy in the group, given how she pitched a fit when she said no one listens to her.

Rainbows apparent sexual hookup with Her best friend Rainbow dash the last episode implied happens. While I have absolutely nothing against lesbians in fact I find them exotic and exiting, I and would want them to be happy no matter who their lover is. that's not how romance works. Romantic love is very different than the pure love friends share; In the season 1 episode sonic tainboom for example Rainbow don't pull off the near impossible so she could keep muff diving with Rarity. No she was afraid she was going to loose a friend she loves and respects. Friends share mutual respect for each other while romantic lovers regularly do disrespectful things to each other that make it difficult to look one another in the eye the next morning. A much better partner for Rainbow would have been Soarin, she looked up to him her whole life as the wonderbolts second in command she saved his life on multiple occasions danced with him at the royal wedding, yet was intimidated by him until she became a wondrerbolt when she would finally have worked up the confidence to ask him her crush and one of her longtime idols out on a date. Perhaps if they set it in the future she could realize she loves Applejack as what she is a good friend but romantically her heart belongs with Soarin. They could be given adorable and gifted foals with creative names to carry on their exceptional legacies and to show the mlp is still very capable of creativity. If they really want to include gay characters why not make them male for once? they could get Braeburn together with Caramel and have an actual gay male couple I'm sad to say in a show known for including everyone no matter their life choice or disability, male gays were strangely non nonexistent on mlp; while female gays were very common male gays were shunned, and are one of the few things mlp never officially included. Female examples of gays included in mlp however include Lyra and Bon Bon, and Scotaloo's aunts just to name a few.

You're making a huge mistake! A G4 reboot (or sequel, or prequel, or spinoff, or whatever) is the last thing MLP needs. G5's single most controversial point was its connection to G4. G4 wasn't popular because of some inherent magic spark; it was popular because it had good characters and good writing. That's as easy to do with a new generation as it would be with a G4 reboot. In fact, I think a G4 reboot would be almost guaranteed to fail, because the writers would be holden to exactly mirror the world and characters of G4. Any mistake, and the whole fandom would turn against G6. The history section of this video could have used some expansion. MLP did not begin in 2010. MLP has been around for a long time, and G4 wasn't the first time it was explosively popular. When you consider the brand's whole history, not just the Faust era, you see that MLP is not a one trick pony. MLP absolutely can rise to popularity again. But going back to G4 isn't the way to do it.
Probably the characters I want to see return in this new G6 it's probably to see the young 6 I really like these characters when they first appeared in season 8 but one of my favorite characters among the young 6 would be ocellus and smolder I would very much like to see them to be in G6.

You probably hasn't go past the movie and a couple of episodes but Misty's arc is emotional, serious, relatable and for sure not "childish".

I wonder if Hasbro intends on pulling an UnknownWorlds. Subnautica did well, the sequel, Below Zero didn’t quite meet expectations, so I heard UW intends on essentially scrubbing BZ from the official timeline, and replacing it with an actual sequel.
I wonder if a similar thing is going on here. G4 was lightning in a bottle, G5 tried to capitalize on that, fell rather short, so maybe Hasbro is making G6 to try to scrub G5 from the official timeline and replace it with G6 as the official sequel.

I would actually like to see the G5 mane six comeback, but maybe made more fleshed out. I love the movie and both animated series, but it all seemed way too rushed. We barely got to see any true back story or character development in my opinion, the only exception being Misty Brightdawn. Just saying, they could've and still do better with those characters.

I just realized, why not just use flurry heart as the main character therefore, we'd still get the same characters we love but older random and new character just let flurry heart be a really late at getting her cutie mark. Making it where pony of her country do not believe she has the power of being the next in line because she doesn't have a mark and start of from there.....
It would be interesting if she was a bit rebellious because her parents are to busy to give her attention but to over protective to let her go anywhere

I don't know what you might expect for the new generation for My Little Pony, but as much as I want to see this G6 and possibly I do want to see all the returning characters to be in this new generation I would much prefer to see the continuation of G5 and as well as G4.
I know there are some issues with G5 and I know that some people didn't like how G4 ended, but I believe G5 deserves so much love and appreciation it deserves and I was okay with this version of the ending of G4 (despite the whole Discord twist and turning the Legion of Doom into stone), I do want to see both generations to come back and continue their stories a little bit longer not to mention continuing there are so many unanswered questions and so many more lore we never got a chance to see, and not to mention to see the Equestria girls get its proper ending and continuous story a little bit longer it wasn't right for Hasbro to cancel this franchise within G4.
But I hope one day that's both G4 and G5 will come back in the near future and continue on a little bit longer but I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future holds for My Little Pony when G6 comes out.

You forgot “Pony Life”, and that it was shown back in 2020, a year after “Friendship is Magic” ended, and it was a series of 5-minute shorts, and that makes it G4.5 with the same characters from “Friendship is Magic” in it. It ran for 2 seasons until 2021, and it was made by Boulder Media (not DHX Media) and eOne (which is now Hasbro Entertainment).
Make Your Mark was the G5 lineup with the least amount of development. Tell Your Tale managed to tell some good stories and good moral messages in only 5 minutes. Opaline is a lot less intimidating than G4 villains like Chrysalis. I will say that the G5 comics do a great job of capturing some of the G4 elements like how lonely Izzy was and creativity was her only friend before she met Sunny. I think the character we got the most connections with was Misty and Posey. What I think made G5 weak was connecting it with G4, but not providing the lore or explanations as to what happened to the changelings and other creatures. I really want to see a bicorn in G6. It would also be nice is smaller character such as Sassy Saddles and Lightning Dust became major characters with more importance.
Ideas!!!
There would be a new main six. These are the descendants of the original main six. Each one of those six get a prophecy or something about how there’s a big evil thing happening. They have to find each other and locate the elements of harmony that were scattered across equestria, meeting new pony races that were lost for generations after Twilights fall. Once they find the elements and restore them (maybe by retuning them to the tree of harmony) they see a hologram of Twilight and the mane six (like in g5) and Twi and her friends explain the fall and what happened and how they now bear the elements. That could be a movie, then it’s shifts to a slice of life tv show with these characters with occasional adventures.
Already had an idea for one of them.

The key is imagination! They can even some inspirations from previous generations just like G4 did with G1 like you can absolutely take some inspirations aswell while also being creative

I really hope it's about the Mane 6's children. As amazing as the prequels about alicorns and other creatures is, that sounds like something the comics will cover. This part is probably just me but I hope if they have time, we'll get more out of "MLP Equestria Girls," including a proper ending.
I don't know if I'm waiting for G5 to come back even though it's finished and closed, or if I have to get used to the new animation of G6, that Hasbro is now planning something new. In which G6 in the new series, Sunny and her friends and the 3D characters would come back again in a new adventure, so I wanted the land of the Alicorns of Skyros and the return of Sunny's mother that she was alive somewhere lost and went to find a way to return magic back to Equestria. I really liked the G5 series so much and I miss it.

Yes this can be done properly with familiar faces without being repetitive. Transformers have done this successfully many times within each iteration or reboot since the iconic G1 series with Optimus Prime still being the leader of the Autobots and Megatron still being the leader of the Decepticons

As much I would like g6 be their own original thing, Hasbro will likely go with adding a pinkie pie, rainbow and twilight story. That's what sells.

They leaned on G4 as a crutch for too long with little to no progress, plus, Short seasons. The characters were great, but the stories weren't that good.
G4 had so much left to tell. I wanted an applejack episode dealing with her feelings of inadequacy in the group, given how she pitched a fit when she said no one listens to her.

Rainbows apparent sexual hookup with Her best friend Rainbow dash the last episode implied happens. While I have absolutely nothing against lesbians in fact I find them exotic and exiting, I and would want them to be happy no matter who their lover is. that's not how romance works. Romantic love is very different than the pure love friends share; In the season 1 episode sonic tainboom for example Rainbow don't pull off the near impossible so she could keep muff diving with Rarity. No she was afraid she was going to loose a friend she loves and respects. Friends share mutual respect for each other while romantic lovers regularly do disrespectful things to each other that make it difficult to look one another in the eye the next morning. A much better partner for Rainbow would have been Soarin, she looked up to him her whole life as the wonderbolts second in command she saved his life on multiple occasions danced with him at the royal wedding, yet was intimidated by him until she became a wondrerbolt when she would finally have worked up the confidence to ask him her crush and one of her longtime idols out on a date. Perhaps if they set it in the future she could realize she loves Applejack as what she is a good friend but romantically her heart belongs with Soarin. They could be given adorable and gifted foals with creative names to carry on their exceptional legacies and to show the mlp is still very capable of creativity. If they really want to include gay characters why not make them male for once? they could get Braeburn together with Caramel and have an actual gay male couple I'm sad to say in a show known for including everyone no matter their life choice or disability, male gays were strangely non nonexistent on mlp; while female gays were very common male gays were shunned, and are one of the few things mlp never officially included. Female examples of gays included in mlp however include Lyra and Bon Bon, and Scotaloo's aunts just to name a few.

You're making a huge mistake! A G4 reboot (or sequel, or prequel, or spinoff, or whatever) is the last thing MLP needs. G5's single most controversial point was its connection to G4. G4 wasn't popular because of some inherent magic spark; it was popular because it had good characters and good writing. That's as easy to do with a new generation as it would be with a G4 reboot. In fact, I think a G4 reboot would be almost guaranteed to fail, because the writers would be holden to exactly mirror the world and characters of G4. Any mistake, and the whole fandom would turn against G6.
The history section of this video could have used some expansion. MLP did not begin in 2010. MLP has been around for a long time, and G4 wasn't the first time it was explosively popular. When you consider the brand's whole history, not just the Faust era, you see that MLP is not a one trick pony. MLP absolutely can rise to popularity again. But going back to G4 isn't the way to do it.
Probably the characters I want to see return in this new G6 it's probably to see the young 6 I really like these characters when they first appeared in season 8 but one of my favorite characters among the young 6 would be ocellus and smolder I would very much like to see them to be in G6.
