Good review, as usual for this channel 👍🏻. Turkish does seem to excel in their catering. Their Economy Class meals remind me of what U.S. airlines served back in the "good old days" of flying in the '70's and '80's 😂. Have a great weekend.

Great job man as always! I've flown Turkish a few times and whilst I appreciate the onboard comfort and catering, I did often find their crews to sometimes be a little bit cold shouldered. Not really an issue just an observation having flown them in both economy and business class.

I’m sure you weren’t expecting a go-around after a nine hour flight. I’ve been in one go around before and when you’re expecting to land, it’s a shock to be going back into the sky. I’m sure it wasn’t fun in that weather either. Great video!❤️✈️

I've taken 4 TK flights earlier this year between Europe and Vietnam/Thailand. Their catering is outstanding but I found everything else mediocre at best, their customer service was even one of the worst I can remember. Overall I was quite disappointed by their product and will only consider it again if it is significantly cheaper than competitors

I flew with them in 1999 from Rome to Bucharest and back to Rome, and in 2003, Vienna to TM… back then they would have food, give you little Romanian wine bottles. Shame to see how crap they’ve become.

I love tk dude. I flew from dusseldorf to istanbul, the food was AMAZING and they give to amenities too like a headphone jack yknow.

Flying from NYC to Tampa on this plane and as a family of 4, we love the 2 seater options!

6hrs is not very long haul, but worth doing if you want to treat yourself to a more relaxed comfy travel.

Oh so turks can fly directly to their original homeland of Mongolia now

turkish airlines actually gives toothbrush, toothpaste in the amenity kit on a 9 hour flight also they give better headphones that covers ur ears also one thing turkish also gives a menu on economy class on 9 hour flights

Yeah, you were served börek. Typical Turkish pastry. Sometimes it can be with potato or egg plant. The spinach one is popular. I'm an expat living in Türkiye, and its nice to pop into a bakery and grab warm börek for breakfast. 😋

I did not fly with tarom, but i did fly romania's other airline which is extinct now. Blue Air was the 2nd biggest airline in the country, and the service on their flights was really good.

your meal is a typical turkish dish named börek. There are layers of cheese and doug like you surely enjoyed. All the best to you and your wife :)

Seems to have been a pleasant flight. I'm glad to see that Turkish Airlines still has decent meals. I've seen some reviews that their Business Class meals weren't as substantial as before the pandemic. However, your Economy Class meals looked fine. They were certainly better than most airline offerings nowadays. Glad that your wife was able to pre-order her Vegan meals, although they didn't look as appetizing as what's offered on SQ or JAL. There used to be a great deal offered to passengers having a long layover in Istanbul (and connecting to a Turkish flight). One was a free hotel room and transportation to and from the airport. The other was a 6 hour tour of the city. Do you know if that's still available? Looking forward to your upcoming adventures. Enjoy your weekend.

I love watching trip reports of rare airlines/routes. Thanks for posting this so cool to watch. May I also mention something? I was completely blown away that your wife who is vegan brought her own snacks & subway sandwich. I work in the airlines and I can’t even begin to tell you the grief we get with dietary restrictions and how irresponsible people can be when taking a flight. Yes in general we do provide vegan/vegetarian/kosher etc….but sometimes last min cancellation or flight changes can happen. It’s so refreshing to see someone thinking ahead and actually having a plan B onboard for food options. Kudos to her! People follow that example

The AIRBUS A380 and A330 NEO are the finest Aircraft flying as far as passenger design and comfort are concerned. End off.

Ok so a bit overdramatic and nitpicky on some aspects and well the lavatory bit is justifiable. but as a frequent flier to tunisia, for that price range you'd be hard pressed to find anything better. plus it's almost always fully booked

Nice! Hawaiian is really a cut above other domestic airlines. I’ve done four round trips from JFK-HNL with my adult children (we’ve stayed on the other main islands, much nicer than Honolulu). Believe it or not, one of my good friends is an HA captain, and after eight flights, we finally coordinated our schedules and he flew us back. We felt like celebrities! Btw, the 330s will be scheduled elsewhere once 787 begins; the Dreamliners will be flying the JFK and BOS routes. Unfortunately, my friend is staying with the 330, so I likely won’t see him much anymore.
