Join me on a quick flight from Aberdeen (ABZ) to Dublin (DUB) with Aer Lingus Regional. Aer Lingus Regional is an Aer Lingus brand which has been used for commuter and regional flights and I was able to book a trip with them for a very reasonable fare. Operated by Emerald Airlines and was aboard one of their ATR 72-600s.

Aberdeen is a major hub for oil production which dictates a lot of the routes from there.
Aer Lingus flys throughout the UK; even Exeter.
It’s not often that you see ATR‘s flying around anymore. Silver Airways is the only one in the US that I can think of. I think ATR’s are more common in many places outside of the US.❤️✈️
Yeah, I can’t think of many US ATR operators 🤔
The ATR got a bad rap due to the issues American Eagle had with them. Continental Express also flew them. I think the Dash-8 got a better foothold thanks to it being a Canadian product that was sold by Boeing for a short time.
Ireland and Scotland are gorgeous. I am actually of Irish descent.
Very cool 😎
