3:08 How are they well appointed in your opinion? I find these seats to be a downgrade from their older economy seats that have a footrest, IFE remote, bi-folding tray table, along with a reduced seat pitch of 1 inch, and no power sockets.
Good review, as usual for this channel 👍🏻. Turkish does seem to excel in their catering. Their Economy Class meals remind me of what U.S. airlines served back in the "good old days" of flying in the '70's and '80's 😂. Have a great weekend.
I’m sure you weren’t expecting a go-around after a nine hour flight. I’ve been in one go around before and when you’re expecting to land, it’s a shock to be going back into the sky. I’m sure it wasn’t fun in that weather either. Great video!❤️✈️
@@dianeschroeder3980 Thanks! It was definitely a bit scary, but that kid throwing up definitely got to me. I was doing everything possible not to throw up myself 😂
Great job man as always! I've flown Turkish a few times and whilst I appreciate the onboard comfort and catering, I did often find their crews to sometimes be a little bit cold shouldered. Not really an issue just an observation having flown them in both economy and business class.
@@MattNav thanks! I remember when I flew Business with them a few years ago I thought they were a bit cold, but after interacting with them they warmed up
1 year ago (mid-Nov 23) I went from Athens to Newark with the Emirates B777 plane, like this one at the end of the video. 😅 Landing after 9 pm, the airport was kind of empty and the passport control was really fast. 15 mins only. 🤯
I've taken 4 TK flights earlier this year between Europe and Vietnam/Thailand. Their catering is outstanding but I found everything else mediocre at best, their customer service was even one of the worst I can remember. Overall I was quite disappointed by their product and will only consider it again if it is significantly cheaper than competitors
Good job mate 👍 Thanks for sharing

@@jvstcu76 Thanks! I really wish all airlines would served a proper second meal instead of just a snack on long haul flights.

Amazing Trip Report! For me they are one of the best Airlines! ✈️

02:58 There are actually 276 seats in total in a B787-9 Dreamliner and those 6 seats are at the very back end of the plane 😃
@@kaan_isik ah ok, the Turkish Airlines website says 270
@NYC Flyer, does the entertainment system have bluetooth capability or wired headphones only?
hi how was the flight overall. Were they strict with the checked bag and carry on bag weight especially. Did you check in a bag
Seems like row 23 get half window ? Is 22 better ?
How's passport control for entering the US?
@@kevin19358 usually a pain at Newark
Really, short staff or super strict?

I flew this, I was hoping to get the 787, instead got stuck with the stupid old A330.

@@sushi777300 that’s a shame. I’ve never been in a position where I’ve needed to use their customer service.
@@nycflyertravel Consider yourself fortunate, it can be really mentally draining if you need anything resolved by them.
