Always enjoy your podcasts. One of the best things about 2010 was that we had severe frosts, making it a winter wonderland, ferfect for a penguin. Oh my stars, it was cold!!

Oh my stars did you know there is to be a blue moon this week, I love star gazing so I will be out with my telescope, although the skies are darker around the 31 of Oct , but we always get so much cloud, it’s hit and Miss if you can’t see anything, Linnie, you are a hoot , I love your jokes and stories, beautiful stitching as always ladies and I love the garden photos at the beginning.

I think my stars aligned the day I found your flosstube, I has been a rollercoaster ride, so many laughs, giggles and tears ( from laughing) you ladies always have such pretty pieces of stitching, I love the Barbara Ana, design and 31 October is my favourite holiday when all the kids call to show off their costumes.

Watching your FlossTube tonight while stitching Crab Dance by Tiny Modernist helped to cheer me up. It’s been a rough week. I should be a charter member of the SABLE Stitchers. I have been organizing all the patterns I have bought since the needlework market in March. Good thing I did because I was about to buy duplicates of patterns I already have. I have at least 20 notebooks full of patterns and I want to stitch them all. It’s kinda overwhelming to see everything I have. And yes, I ordered patterns from the upcoming market. Roberta, never worry about food that you organize and put out for teachers. I am a retired teacher and I was always grateful when someone put together a lunch for us. It was always greatly appreciated. I am so ready to stitch fall and Halloween. I am trying to finish up a couple of summer pieces before I move on. Weather wise, summer is my favorite but stitchy wise and seasonally, fall decorating is my favorite. I love all the vibrant colors. Winter, not so much weather wise or stitch wise either. Winter is my least favorite season. I enjoyed seeing your fall patterns. I have a few of the same ones and it was a reminder to pull some of them out. Linnie, I was afraid you weren’t going to read us a bedtime story and I would have been so disappointed. So thanks for not letting me down. Lol. Hope your adventure after filming this was fun. I’ve recently rediscovered my stitching love, and my pattern wish list gets longer and longer, thanks to enablers like you.😊 One of my favorite segments are the riddles and puns. I taught school for many years. And one of my and the students’ favorite things was the riddle I put on the board every single morning before they arrived. The students knew the routine - gather any homework, signed papers, etc and put them in the proper baskets. Be seated and ready to learn - THEN and only then could the students volunteer answers. Inevitably, those riddles and puns were shared with the students’ other teachers, friends, and family. And if I had to be absent for a conference, the sub had instructions to write the day’s riddle on the board. Teaching made my heart smile (most of the time). And I made sure my classroom was a wonderland of learning, activity, laughter, love and respect. Thank you, Linnie and Roberta, for sharing your time and craft with us.

My stars, the time flew by! In the winter it is time to gather things (patterns, fabric, floss, etc.) although I still have stuff from 2010 and 2018. Maybe I will find a cute penguin to stitch!
