We were very lucky to see a turtle on our holiday in the carribean many years ago, it was an awesome sight, I would love to see Rev, Squash bottom stitched up and see how you finish him, really enjoyed watching.
Thank you so much Linnie and Roberta for showing my embroidery designs in your video! 🥰 I hope you will enjoy stitching them. I will be happy to help in case you have questions and you can always refer to my embroidery tutorials. In your patterns, you will find links to my video course where I walk you through the entire embroidery process from start to finish ✂
Oh I always enjoy your “stitching” info…but most of all I enjoy both of you! You top my list of floss tube that have two people. Linnie i would never guess you were 72. AND i love to hear the crinkle. I just received patterns and opening them….the sound is like opening wrapping paper. Turtle, September, Hello pumpkins😎
Thank you so much for your kind comments Jody! We feel like we are talking to friends when we film and always love having the opportunity to meet viewers in person. (I'm a crinkle lover too. That sounds makes me happy, but know that's not the case for everyone).
Definitely Rev Squashbottom! I am about 1/2 done. My chart is old though and handwritten. Hopefully yours is newer. It is the reason I found Good Notes. Perhaps that was in September! Always good to see you both!
Back in the day when so many charts were hand drawn we just didn't know what we were missing; now it's hard to go back to those. So far the Rev seems to be winning by quite a bit!
Hi Linnie and Roberta!!! Linnie congrats on your grandson getting into K-State / EMAW. Roberta, I would like to see Rev. Squashbottom stitched up. I so enjoy your flosstubes. Turtle
I so enjoy watching you 2 ladies...Linnie I have done rag quilts in the past they are fun to make..The turtle was slow last September but he did get to say hello to the pumpkins in October..Blessings ladies!
Coffin joke was the best! And the tow truck story. That’s one to keep laughing about for a long time. So funny. Pumpkins, hello, turtle. I vote for the reverend to start. Thanks for another fun visit. Autumn is such a great time to stitch.
Oh no, hope you are feeling better. A friend of mine was dealing with this earlier this year and had to go to physical therapy to redistribute the crystals in her ears. Sounds new-age-ish but she saw immediate improvemet.
I vote for Rev. Squashbottom. He is so cute. September. I love watching the two of you! I smile the whole way through.Oh Linnie…you crack me up!!! You can’t beat a girls get away. Sounds like you had a blast. Jealous.
I love the stories, jokes and all the beautiful stitching. I like jack’s bash. Love the turtle and September. I want to make that Halloween quilt. Thanks for a wonderful video.
Hello GIrls, You are always so much fun, I really think you two are my favourite flosstubers to watch, and I watch an awful lot of flosstube, YOu never know just what you are going to see or hear, what a hoot, I instantly had so many ideas of what to stitcht on the sweet TURTLE fabric, Look after yourselves, see yu next time, ...Ps, Boo Spook Haunt
What a fun trip with many adventures and created memories. Enjoy the retreat and please share. I think Jack's Bash should be the next stitching project Roberta. Fits with the season. Turtle, Autumn, September. Enjoy the fall weather. Looking forward to your next video.
Although I have never stitched up Rev. Squashbottom I think he is so cute so he gets my vote, whatever you decide to stitch will be fantastic, My wife and I saw a Turtle when we were on our honeymoon , it was awesome.
It was fun to hear about Galleria. Those types of things are cost prohibitive for me, so I live vicariously through all my favorite FlossTubers 😎 I especially enjoy the personal updates. My vote for Roberta is Rev. Squashbottom 🎃 Turtle, September
I know a lot of people can't attend retreats due to various circumstances. That was me for many years so our goal is to share the joy with those who aren't able to go.
I enjoyed spending time with you again. As usual, I love all your stitching and projects that you're working on and all your jokes and stories. Turtle, September
I was so disappointed that I missed Needlework Galleria this year. I didn’t see you last year Roberta. I hated to miss it but life. Turtle. My birthday month is September. Hello. Pumpkins.
I vote for the Rev Squash Bottom. You ladies sre so pretty...Roberta funny story stopping for a tow truck😂! Blackbird, September, Pumpkins, are all beautiful stitching projects.
Oh, my gosh, I laughed so hard when you told your story of getting pulled over by a tow truck 🤣. That is something that would totally happen to me! 😂 That hail sounds like it was no joke though. Sorry your car got damaged, Roberta. Your trip to Galleria sounded like so much fun. I would love to get there myself one day. Linnie, thanks for explaining how to make a rag quilt. I'm not much of a sewer, but the rag quilt you showed that you made for the baby was so cute, and it looks like such an easy quilt to do. You had some great jokes this week 😂. Roberta, I think I have to cast my vote with the Rev Squashbottom. They are all wonderful designs to stitch but I picked him because you've wanted to do him for a while😊. I hope you have a wonderful time at Hobby House, and that you have great weather while you're there. Upstate NY is such a lovely area, and to be there when the trees are in color is an extra treat! Be well, ladies! Turtle
Thanks for your sweet comments Maureen. I was fortunate in that I only got a few dings on the hood and maybe two on the roof. I'll probably get a quote for repairing the dents and get it done if it isn't too high. You are right; I've wanted to do the Rev for awhile and would love to have a Notforgotten Farm design on the go.
Love your scrappy strip quilt I did one last year. Just using my scraps. No same size. I used 1/2" pieces of denim I've been cutting denim squares for years and this way I used up my squares. Strip scraps and finishing up bobbins and spools running low Wish I could send pic Maybe later I love you two. Wish I lived close I'd love creating with you God bless you
Never a dull moment with you two! So glad you can laugh about the trip misadventures and thank you for sharing all your projects. Roberta, my choice for your next one would be the farm pinkeep from Stacy Nash.
Hi ladies!!!! Thanks for another fun filled visit ☺️. Roberta, my vote would be Rev. Squashbottom for your next start. I’ve had my eye on him for quite some time now. He is darling for sure & I bet Claire would like him also. Turtle September
So glad the weather is getting cooler for you, we dont have any such problems in this part of the world, but I so glad it is dry, I love Autumn, Boo Sook Haunt would be so cute stitched up and I just love the TURTLE fabric , Stay well.
Hi Zandi. May I ask where you live? I think our heat streak finally broke and supposed to be in the 70’s. So excited for cooler stitching weather. So many fun fall and Halloween patterns. Have a great two week and happy stitching ❤
Great stitching Linnie. Roberta love the appliqué. Amazing quilt Linnie. You ladies are so talented. September , Hello and pumpkin. Thank you for sharing.😂
Laughed so hard at the spider attack last video and your spoof this one. I think that Reverend Squashbottom is the best choice. September, When the Leaves Fall, Winds of Autumn
Great episode! I think Roberta should start Teresa Kogut's Halloween Sampler. I've thought about doing a couple of rows individually, rather than the full piece. I liked the spider, the road trip story, and Linnie's jokes. I especially enjoy how much Linnie enjoys her own jokes. 😄 The turtle fabric was lovely, as was the September pattern. And I have the Winds of Autumn and When the Leave Fall on my wishlist. I need to stitch faster!
We all have to stitch faster, don't we!! I have your vote noted. That's a great idea to do the bands individually, but they're all so cute it would be hard to choose.
Thank you Margo. It is my favorite jelly roll or stash buster quilt and even though you see them the same way each one looks different. Thanks for commenting. We will visit again soon ❤
Colour and Cotton is my LNS! Awesome shop and owners! They started having stitchy get togethers twice a month so I am in heaven! So glad you were able to visit!
Thank you for making my night! I absolutely love the policeman aka as tow truck driver!! 🤣🤣🤣. It could so easily been me. I have a dear friend to share this with tomorrow.
What a fun time you had on your trip! I laughed so much about the tow truck behind you! And then I gasped when I saw your Birds of a Feather Alphabet chart! I love that so much! I wish I had gotten it when it was still available. I love all your project bags - they’re so tempting! Have a wonderful time with your grandchildren For Roberta’s start: Boo, haunt Spook. I do love Jack’s Bash, too, but I think it would be a long term project. I hope you have a wonderful time at Hobby House - it’s a wonderful, wonderful shop - and you should see some good fall color. If you’re flying into Rochester, be sure you look out the window - you may see the Finger Lakes - my favorite part of the country. Oh, Linnie - your last story!!! I was worried it was going to be scary and that wouldn’t sleep - and then I really laughed out loud! Thank you both so much!
I didn't see a lot of the area around the hotel in New York but loved what I did see. Would love to come back with my husband and have time to stop at several towns in the area.
Thank you Lizzy. I’ve never done anything like that but it gives me confidence to do a strawberry and a drum. I’m putting them on my list. Happy stitching to you ❤
I’ve been thinking about starting rev squash bottom for my November birthday so I think you should do that one! 😊 Always love hearing about your lives and your stitching. I need to order those blackbird books! September ❤
Hi Lisa. Thank you for watching and commenting. We wish we could meet all our viewers in person. You all are friends to us. Take care and happy stitching ❤
Always look forward to that bedtime story. Can't believe September is already over. Where does the time go? I'm looking forward to the cooler weather also. Haven't seen a turtle in my area in a long time. Maybe it's too hot for them also. Thank you, ladies, for another enjoyable video. See you in two weeks. ❤❤
Linnie, I know you’ve started the squares on the Hinzeit; but I wanted to share. I bought a similar Hinzeit years ago. It was just the word ‘Christmas’ and the little charms were sewn on each letter. It is a large piece, but I love it for its simplicity with the bling of the charms. Great video, girls.
I’m gonna vote for the Reverend for you to start Roberta. I’ve got to find mine and get him started. Love you girl road trip story with the tow truck. Girl trips are the best!!!
I loved the bedtime story! 😂. I choose Reverend Squashbottom for the new start. I hosted my first retreat last week, at a campground, and we are already sold out for the next one in March! I will be hosting another fall retreat, next September. Enjoy that prim retreat. I would love that one!
Your vote is noted! I'm so happy to hear your next retreat is sold out already! I'm so glad I attended that Hobby House retreat as it doesn't sound like they will do another one like that.
I would like to see you too Jack bash for Halloween sampler. The turtle would be so cute and September will be here again before we know it and hello to you ladies and I can’t wait to get some pumpkins. Have a great week.
I vote for Rev Squashbotton. This has been on my wish list for some time. It sounds like you had a great road trip. I want to attend the Galleria next year, Turtle.
Love your stitching and your stories. As always, thanks for sharing. You will remember your road trip for years and laugh when you think of the tow truck. Events like that makes it unique and special. I am an Aida stitcher that piece of fabric is so pretty. Turtle, September, Hello Hard to pick a chart to start , but maybe Jacks Bash. I like that.
That Bee autograpgh book is lovely. Watched you ladies like a turtle today as i had to go outside this morning and enjoy the pretty day since the winds of autumn weren't too bad after yesterday's rain. Oh the girl's road trip to the galleria sounds fun excepting your "cop scare" and the hail. Have a safe travel and happy time to NY. Yesterday i enjoyed a rainbow evening drive to my LNS Craft Gallery. I'm having so much fun stitching September samplers and minis. I love the owl honey waxer and that handmade needle book 📖. Your idea for the various brands and sizes for each page is a great idea. Please do Squashbottom as youve showed that one and I think Clora will get a kick out of him too. Ha! Lol, i know the whole "i stay up late, so i don't know how I don't get anything done. You kadies always have me cheered and excited about stitching and collecting. The Teresa Kogut bags are fabulous. There is one at C.G. but it is so tiny. I like the bigger bags! 🎒 🛍 Thanks for bringing us another wonderful, inspiring visit. God bless you & your families. 🍂 🍁 🍂
Yay for girls getaways! Love road trips with my friends. You gals always have so much eye candy. Better than candy corn any day! Lenny your string quit is so cute! I have a spider web quilt started which is basically the same as your string quilt, done on papers in a triangle shape. When you sew the triangles together you get a spider web effect. I have a poem for you that came out of a Halloween book my son got in grade school (he's 43 now!). "It's not the cough that carries you off, it's the coffin, they carry you off in!" Roberta I think you should start The Rev. Squashbottom. Turtle
I think you always gotta have a few “ stories” to tell from a road trip. Sounds like it was fun! Ooooh I feel like I’m landing on 16 ct as I just haven’t gotten past evenweave. Turtle, Linnie’s 2 blackbird books When leaves fall and winds of autumn, September. Love all you show. Thanks ladies!
Roberta I think you start Boo spook haunt. Turtle, September, lots of beautiful stitching as always. Love the jokes, I bet you had a real good little fun trip to the shops you visited. Happy stitching. See you 2 weeks.
Roberta, I vote for Jack’s Bash. Your wool appliqué looks so great! I am excited to see the finish! Linnie you Halloween quilt is awesome! I love all of the happy colors. Turtle September
It's always great visiting with you ladies. You make me smile every time. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the starts in October, but I'm going to vote for Jack's Bash. Turtle, September, hello, autumn.
Love all you girls share with us! (Stories included) Your girls trip sounded fun! Roberta your comment about the Halloween sampler gets my vote! Love your faux books. I have two by my stitching chair with notions in one and sulky threads in the other to try to keep my stitching spot less stitchy cluttered.
Hello ladies, thank you for the nice things you showed us. Linnie, I adore your Halloween projectbag. Roberta, I would start Jack’s Bash or Farm Market Pinkeep. September Have a nice day. Greetings, your friend from The Netherlands- Clara
Hello to our dear friend in the Netherlands. How are you doing Clara? So many cute things to stitch. Wish my fingers stitched faster. Hope you have a great two weeks and we will visit again soon. Take care and happy stitching ❤
I vote for Teresa Kogut’s hello Halloween! I have one little corner started. I started in September and I’m slow as a turtle! Enjoyed ladies! Happy Stitching
Lots of tricks and treats with the two of you! Loved the "flashing Lights, Cop" story. Autumn is here, Septmeber this over and the leaves are falling for sure. Great show!
Reverend Squash-bottom is my pick. I think the winds of autumn has so many beautiful patterns. Turtle book and 18 count looks beautiful. I am having a hard time finding fake or real bittersweet to put in my fall dried flower bouquet. Thank you for all you do.
The Rev is winning so far! I bought some really great fake bittersweet last year, I believe. I don't remember where I found it but love the way bittersweet looks. Sometimes it's available in our grocery stores, but it is pretty pricy.
Roberta, I think you should start the Halloween Sampler. I have that one all kitted up and I really need to start. I can't wait to hear about your retreat at Hobby House. I think I need to go to that one. It sounds great. And yes, please say "hi" at retreats because Linney always gives hugs.
Yes, do it Felicia! The retreat was so fun and they are opening a new shop soon where all three stores will be under one roof. I'm keeping track of everyone's suggestions for starts and appreciate your input.
Jack's bash would be so cute, I enjoy watching and listen through my Turtle beach headphones.
I love that piece. I think the floral border really makes it special. Thank you for your vote!
❤
We were very lucky to see a turtle on our holiday in the carribean many years ago, it was an awesome sight, I would love to see Rev, Squash bottom stitched up and see how you finish him, really enjoyed watching.
That would be awesome seeing a turtle in the wild like that. Thanks for your vote! The Rev. is pulling ahead.

Had to stop and think about the bedtime story ending AND then laughed out loud!!! Keep them coming!!
Thank you. I have fun looking for them. Happy stitching ❤
Took me a minute to get it too! I told it to my son and he got it right away.
Coffin joke was the best! And the tow truck story. That’s one to keep laughing about for a long time. So funny. Pumpkins, hello, turtle. I vote for the reverend to start. Thanks for another fun visit. Autumn is such a great time to stitch.
I liked that joke a lot too. Yes, we won't live that down. Thanks for your input. I'll announce the start winner on our next video!
No stitchy mojo here. Went to another retreat this past weekend but was battling vertigo - didn’t get much done
Oh that’s miserable feeling. Take care ❤
Oh no, hope you are feeling better. A friend of mine was dealing with this earlier this year and had to go to physical therapy to redistribute the crystals in her ears. Sounds new-age-ish but she saw immediate improvemet.
I really enjoy watching your videos. Beautiful stitching and good stories. Loved your coffin joke.😂turtle

I like making strip quilts. I have a red white and blue started. And a couple others as well.
They are my favorites to make ❤
A red, white and blue one sounds very pretty.
I love the quilt. I use 10inch squares of batting so that I don't have to do extra steps. I love your videos. Thank you ladies.
That's a great idea! Thank you for sharing.
What a fun time you had on your trip! I laughed so much about the tow truck behind you! And then I gasped when I saw your Birds of a Feather Alphabet chart! I love that so much! I wish I had gotten it when it was still available.

For Roberta’s start: Boo, haunt Spook. I do love Jack’s Bash, too, but I think it would be a long term project. I hope you have a wonderful time at Hobby House - it’s a wonderful, wonderful shop - and you should see some good fall color. If you’re flying into Rochester, be sure you look out the window - you may see the Finger

Oh, Linnie - your last story!!! I was worried it was going to be scary and that wouldn’t sleep - and then I really laughed out loud!

The needlebook was sooo pretty! Excellent finishing skills! Have a happy week!
Thank you Lizzy. I’ve never done anything like that but it gives me confidence to do a strawberry and a drum. I’m putting them on my list. Happy stitching to you ❤
I’ve been thinking about starting rev squash bottom for my November birthday so I think you should do that one! 😊
Always love hearing about your lives and your stitching. I need to order those blackbird books!
September ❤
The Rev. is winning and, whichever one wins will be my next start after Halloween Feed Sack!
Hi Lisa. Thank you for watching and commenting. We wish we could meet all our viewers in person. You all are friends to us. Take care and happy stitching ❤
Lol. I did several different size square rag quilts. But....I forgot on some to quilt the X on them. Lol
Still love them
You two sounded like Thelma & Louise of cross-stitch on your road trip😂 loved hearing your adventures!! Turtle
I love that! No big rigs were destroyed during our trip, I promise!
@@Roberta.SABLEStitchers 🤣🤣🤣
Always look forward to that bedtime story. Can't believe September is already over. Where does the time go? I'm looking forward to the cooler weather also. Haven't seen a turtle in my area in a long time. Maybe it's too hot for them also. Thank you, ladies, for another enjoyable video. See you in two weeks. ❤❤
I see turtles around here in the spring, usually trying to cross a busy street - yikes!
I like them all! Turtle and September
I’m gonna vote for the Reverend for you to start Roberta. I’ve got to find mine and get him started. Love you girl road trip story with the tow truck. Girl trips are the best!!!
Voting is close but the Rev. is a bit ahead of the others! I'm looking forward to starting him.
Another fun video ladies! September. Pumpkins
Really nice video. Love to go to the ocean and see the little turtle. September has come and gone.
Thanks so much for your kind words Debbie!
I vote for Rev Squashbotton. This has been on my wish list for some time. It sounds like you had a great road trip. I want to attend the Galleria next year, Turtle.
Got your vote noted and the Rev. is in the lead! I hope you do get to attend Galleria next year. We are looking forward to returning.
Love your stitching and your stories. As always, thanks for sharing. You will remember your road trip for years and laugh when you think of the tow truck. Events like that makes it unique and special. I am an Aida stitcher that piece of fabric is so pretty. Turtle,
September, Hello
Hard to pick a chart to start , but maybe Jacks Bash. I like that.
Yes, the border is especially lovely on that piece!
Thank you Debbie. Making memories is the best. Have fun stitching ❤
Another fun video. Hmmmm, I think either Plum Street's Jack's Bash or the Halloween Sampler.
Your votes are noted!
Thanks Dee ❤
Thanks for bringing us another wonderful, inspiring visit. God bless you & your families. 🍂 🍁 🍂
Thanks for your input Kristina! So far the Reverend is winning. The Hobbyhouse retreat was so much fun and New York was beautiful.
Your flosstubes are amongst my favorites!
We appreciate your spending time with us Charlene!
"It's not the cough that carries you off, it's the coffin, they carry you off in!"
Roberta I think you should start The Rev. Squashbottom.
Turtle
I haven't heard that saying before! How cute! I bet your your spider web quilt is super cute!
WHat a lot of fun!! Thanks for showing us the rag quilting technique :) Happy Autumn stitching
Thanks so much Christine!
Loved the story about pulling over for the cop ecause you were speeding, what a Hoot. Stitch Boo Bash. Turtle , September 😊
Thanks for your vote! I especially love the border on that pattern.
Roberta I think you start Boo spook haunt.
Turtle, September, lots of beautiful stitching as always. Love the jokes, I bet you had a real good little fun trip to the shops you visited. Happy stitching. See you 2 weeks.
I saw that piece finished as a drum last week - so cute! Oh my goodness those shops were so cute!
You ladies are so fun, you really perk up my day. Turtle is gorgeous, and September is perfection.
Linnie, that Christmas is going to be great when it's done.
I agree. I doubt it will make it this Christmas but I’m going to keep working on it. Thanks for commenting ❤❤
Roberta, I vote for Jack’s Bash. Your wool appliqué looks so great! I am excited to see the finish! Linnie you Halloween quilt is awesome! I love all of the happy colors. Turtle September
I need to get back to my wool piece! Thanks for your vote. I so love that piece, especially the border.
Loving the Squash bottom stitch!
September
It's always great visiting with you ladies. You make me smile every time. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the starts in October, but I'm going to vote for Jack's Bash. Turtle, September, hello, autumn.
Thanks for your input! Just started tallying and JB and the TK sampler are tied so far.
love all youe stitching and funnies. Turtle is beauriful
I stitched the Rev for my daughter in September and enjoyed every stitch. I think you would enjoy it. Turtle . enjoy your stitching ladies.
The Rev is winning! Looking forward to starting it. Thank you for your vote!
Hello new fan over here and I am dying laughing at what SABLE stands for! You girls are fun to watch!
We're happy you joined us and hope to "see" you again!
lol lol lol. Omg - I laughed so hard about pulling over for the tow truck lol. That would be something that would happen to me.
I appreciate your laughing with me about this Betsy!
That's a great idea for the books! I have so many vintage books that I was having a hard time figuring out where to use them.
September Another great video! I took notes!! (and laughed at a few of the jokes!) Thanks, ladies!
Our vintage camper is called Murtle the turtle and we are remodeling the interior to make my stitching easy to do.
Love it Jo! What a perfect name for a camper.
Hello ladies, thank you for the nice things you showed us. Linnie, I adore your Halloween projectbag. Roberta, I would start Jack’s Bash or Farm Market Pinkeep.
September
Have a nice day.
Thanks for your vote! Hope you are having a wonderful autumn. Our little Clara just left to go home and the house seems empty.
I love all your haul and. I love the color green and tells too
Myrtle loves September and saying Hello to Fall
Its Pumpkin time again
Hope this gets me something =) in a haul
I vote for Teresa Kogut’s hello Halloween! I have one little corner started. I started in September and I’m slow as a turtle! Enjoyed ladies! Happy Stitching
I have your vote noted! I would love to jump into starting that one!
Fun video ladies. Roberta, I think you should start Farm Market pinkeep. Turtle, September. Have a great rest of your week.
Lots of tricks and treats with the two of you! Loved the "flashing Lights, Cop" story. Autumn is here, Septmeber this over and the leaves are falling for sure. Great show!
I can't believe how fast September flew by! Thank you for your words of encouragement!
It was so crazy fun. Thank you for watching. We will see you again very soon ❤
September, hello, turtle, pumpkins. Quite an exciting trip you girls had. Thanks for sharing.
Start Squashbottom
Enjoyed the video. Thank you.
Turtle hello September pumpkins
Thanks for the input!
Awesome beginning. You two are great.
Loved the coffin joke
Loved stitching as I watched both of you happy ladies ❤️❤️🧵❤️❤️
Thank you for spending time with us again Nana!
Loved all the fall and Halloween stitching! Halloween stitching is my favorite!
Must be mine too, based on how many Halloween patterns I have.
